Changing my activity level - quick question!

Quote  |  Reply

I've kept myself at sedentary the whole time I've been on CC but I think it might need to be changed.

At sedentary I used to only log my gym workouts. I walk around most of the day and have to carry heavy bags to and from uni/supermarket everyday. The advice I have seen is that light activity is "no more than 2 hours walking a day" and "no more than 4 miles walking a day".

*I walk 3.2 miles everyday, no matter what, and half of that is up a very steep hill*

So, is it time to change my activity level to 'light activity' and carry on logging my gym workouts?

Click on 'My Account' then on 'Account Settings'.  Toward the bottom of the page you'll see 'body type' and 'activity level'.  Just click on the level you want.  I think I'd at least click light activity if not moderate.

I'd actually log the walking activity while leaving the basic level at sedentary.
