changing your email address

So I have 2 email address' in  my account. One of them is where my notifications go my yahoo email. When I try to change it to my hotmail account it asks to verify it, I do... but my notifications still go to my yahoo account. Then when I try to change it again, it says my hotmail account isn't verified. How do i make my notifications go to my hotmail account??

ok so I tried to change it on the about membership and it said that email was already registered, and wouldn't let me change it... And if I change on the caloriecount site it changes it but as to be verified so I verify it and update it, then i log out log back in and it's back to the yahoo email :S
