Do you ever think about parallel lives? I don't believe in it but its an interesting concept.

Such as..?

Parallel universes? Like... in this reality, I married Kristen but in another reality, Kristen and I never made it through that first year?

Yep. Like somewhere Donnie never got killed and we are married with kids.

Edit: I guess a 12 yo's dreams never die.

I guess its kinda the same thing as just playing 'what if'.

I was a strong believer in the non-existence of god(present company exempt, of course) without any help from anyone.

The church itself convinced me there can be no god.  Only men running around telling silly stories.

wow! i leave for 10 mins to do some work and i come back to all this heavy philosophical stuff!

I believe in God. I just don't like organized religion. I think there are too many churches that like to tell you what they think you should do or how to live and not really what the bible tells you. I think there are a lot of people out there that think that if they go to church every Sunday they are good people no matter what they do during the week.

I believe in some sort of creative force. I don't know that I believe in God, in the traditional sense.

I am God. You are God. We are all God. We have the kernel of God within us, the ability to craft and create our own lives.

Bah!

Our 'souls' are just a random chemical reaction. We are mere flesh and when we die the worms take us.

(except now you are pickled and kept in a concrete vault)

*shudders*

i was interested in religion for a while, but as a goth in my teens i was looked down upon by every church i tried going to. my theory was - god teaches everyone to love thy neighbour and treat them as they would want to be treated themselves. clearly if truly religious people are not accepting than neither will i be to religion. its a bit sad really, but i also question a lot of the bible so for me it was for philosophical purposes and not so much because i believed. Heavy stuff over

oooh sounds awesome! lol

I was a big-time church kid growing up.  But due to a lot of things over the years, I pretty much did a 180.  I have respect for everyone's beliefs, but I, personally, no longer believe in anything divine.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is an interesting concept though.

I want to be cremated. Now I want my ashes to be put in a Pepsi and shook up and sprayed all over the place. Tongue out Maybe pop a Mentos in it.

rofl kim! diet or regular.....?

Oohh good one, Kim! :)

I also want to be cremated.  Let the organ donation people take what they can, cremate the rest, dump me in the ocean, go back to shore, have big party.

Regular!

I was brought up in the church and like Laura over the years things have happened to make me feel the way I do. But I haven't gotten to the point where I don't believe. I just don't agree with what 'man' has decided is religion.

It has to be a Diet Pepsi.

I wouldn't mind being cremated and having my ashes sent up in the space shuttle and sent to space. :) Seriously. But, honestly, I don't care that much to what happens to my body after I die. I don't intend to be in it. :) I intend to be getting ready for my next assignment.

same hk, once im gone im gone. as long as im not chucked over a cliff im down with whatever lol

*gives HK some of her work*

there's your next assignment :-D

What is the point of being buried? Do people really go to the cemetary that regularly? Even if one generation does the next will go less and so on. Like you said - you really aren't there.
