I sometimes wonder what will happen over the years when the cemeteries start to fill up.  That's one of my reasons for wanting cremation.  All I'd do otherwise is take up space.

hmmm i think i'll get my relatives to plant a tree and scatter my ashes around it. then the tree is there for life AND they can watch it grow. plus il be good for the environment :)

I think it's illegal to be buried without the vault.  I think it's also illegal to spread ashes.

I could be wrong, it's happened before.

The most efficient burial for me is to get a 2' post hole auger and drill down 9' and send me down ass first.  It would take about 5 minutes and cost very little

My Grandmother was cremated and we took her ashes out to the bay. And when we released them the wind caught them, they floated up in the air and away.  Was pretty cool.

I know for a fact that doesn't stop people from spreading ashes, but I can see that. I dunno about the vault, but it wouldn't surprise me. If I need a vault, let it be of biodegradable wood, then.

I think some really 'smart' people wanted to keep the underground sanitary.  So even though every other species is allowed to rot around us, humans need to be kept sanitary.

I think humans are very interesting creatures.

I was at a cemetery out near the lake, in the middle of nowhere.  There were stones for people from 1815.

I was hit with my own mortality and realized these folks spent their whole lives living on the ground I live on.  I thought I bought/owned the land.  But really we can only borrow it for <100 years.

I'll finish the box but I won't buy them again. The strawberry & almond ones are good. But the Chocolate ones are the best.
