RealDolls are seriously freaky.
To each their own.
*eyebrow quirk*
Something you want to say there, Wilma?

Long Duk Dong is an absolute cultural icon.
Ah yes, Long Duk. Back in the days when racial stereotyping was acceptable, even entertaining.

"And I run, I run so far away...."
And this song, among many, is why I think the 80s had far better music than the other recent decades.
I find '80s nostalgia to be silly.

Those days would be the '80s.

All I'll say is there's some way that you know that they're freaky.

The 80's are over?
Nostalgia? Nah. No Nostalgia here.
But my iPod is filled with music from the mid 50s through today and I really feel that there is more good/listenable music that came out of the 80s than any other decade.
Unlike the 70s, no embarassing disco or partridge family type stuff and unlike the 90s and today, no increasing emphasis on R&B/Rap
The 80s had alot of good stuff.

LOL and somehow, Gedde Wantanabe is associated with quite a bit of it! ;)

You take that back!
I saw a documentary that focused on people who uh... "actively" own RealDolls.
I can understand having a RealDoll for use as a very expensive toy to add a new dimension to human relationships.
But two of the three guys they profiled who owned the RealDolls um....let's just say human relationships were probably not happening ever for them.

Heh. The missus saw that documentary and came to most of the same conclusions.
Uh huh. Let's just say that when one of the guys said he lived with his mother until she passed away when he was in his late 40's??? Yeah.

NEVER!
Also belated edit to mention the 90s had that bad boy band stuff too.
I have a wife. Who needs a sexy toy? ;D
'90s had Ace of Base as well. :/
My take on the '80's is that, especially in the earlier part of the decade, "Pop" music was still being done by actual bands who actually wrote their music and performed it. Some of them actually took it seriously and saw songwriting as a craft and continued to improve over the years.
Late 80's and into the 90's started with all the "sampling" and overproduction and boy band and synthesized crap, and it all went downhill.
'80s were kicked off by Xanadu
