The chat in which a question of extreme importance is asked and debated
Which decade had the absolute best music? Was it the jazz eras of the 20s and 30s? Was it early rock and roll of the 50s? Classic Rock of the 70s? New Wave in the 80s? Alternative in the 90s?
This question is of extreme important, so you MUST answer ;)
Also, howdy all!

SC [sheepishly] admits to liking a few SG songs.

I can and I will, and they came out of Britain too! ;)
I admit I enjoy a couple SG songs. They're fun and you can dance to 'em.
BTW, apparently, the Spice Girls are back together. Why this is news boggles me, but a friend of mine who's a.. little obsessed is ecstatically telling everyone.

Thanks Scoots! How do I make my kidneys stop hurting?
Jazz in the 1950s and early 60s! Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie - I loved them all
50s Jazz
I liked acid rock too.

Did I just forget to say Hi?
Depends on why they are hurting? if both are hurting, could be dehydration. If not, well, I don't even play a doctor in chat (tho, that could be fun) so, I'd say you should prolly pay a visit to yours.
*hugs kim belately*
Yeah, I love the psychedelic Acid Rock stuff too. Heh.

Kim, drink your cranberry juice and call the doctor! Hope you feel better soon!
I know of the Verve, at least. They made it into the USA with "Bittersweet Symphony"
Or is that the Verve Pipe.
*checks*
It's the Verve.

SC must note that due to some very (and varied) conversations in PMs yesterday that he is out of his alotted amount.
To the person who just PM'd me: Yes. It could very much be what was suggested.

Well, now we know who #35 is in response to ;)
I figured this chat would get people talking. It will hopefully make up for me NOT being here tommorow and praying, instead, that there is no lightning.

You know, I remember listening to Bittersweet Symph and it was just the same music on loop. Not a lot of talent. And the Backdoor Boyz were just a rehash of NKOTB...who (and I can't believe I'm saying this) did it better.
I loved the rock scene in the late 60s. My favorite group was Crosby Stills Nash & Young. My favorite song was Suite Judy Blue Eyes. I wish I could have been at Monterey Pop.
And hopefully, will also make up for yesterdays paltry 38 pages of chat. Sheesh. That's like, so totally February.
The Backstreet Boys were better choreographed.
OTOH, the NKOTB were more 'bad'.

My dad liked the Beach Boys. I liked the Ramones. They're really the same music (at least Johnny & Co's earlier stuff)
