Which decade had the absolute best music? Was it the jazz eras of the 20s and 30s? Was it early rock and roll of the 50s? Classic Rock of the 70s? New Wave in the 80s? Alternative in the 90s?

I'm getting a "truck" one day

I love the debate, and while at 43 I obviously disagree with everyone except those who think the best modern music (broad based), is anything but the era starting in the late 60's and ending in the early 80's. There was that Disco thing in the late 70's, but even those critics who lived through that era (and hated it), have looked back and realized it was actually a pretty cool moment in time. 

IMHO most of the eighties was pop or punk. The nineties up until today are mostly pop, hip hop, or rap. I have survived on classic rock stations, jazz, classical and even let my wife listen to her country station on occasion. More and more of it is a lot more rock than what today's adult rock stations play.

I would want to remove the engine from the front and put a V-8 over the rear end.  There would have to be a fancy gearbox on the back bumper.  The weight imbalance and power would make it a nice wheel standing machine.

I could replace the steering wheel with a hand brake for each rear wheel!

Oh, and cut a hole in the floor to see down the road!
