Well.  The song is not written by here.  it is written by a D. Snider.  I never paid much attention to that, till they were having The Metal Years on VH1.  They're at the segment on Twisted Sister where Dee Snider (the band's frontman) is talking about this christmas song he wrote...performed by none other than Mz Dion.  Which made me all the more fond of said song.

The song is "The Magic of Christmas Day"

SC loves Metallica.  I guess there's a new band calling themselves Metallica.  But they put out sucky music.  Metallica's last album was the Black Album.

SC have you ever listened to Dee's radio show??

I loved the Black Album.

But I also love "whiskey in the jar" - not much else though.

I am also beginning to love Alice in chains.

Black Album was there last good one, but nothing rocks more than "Ride The Lightning" & "Justic For All"

I get Alice Coopers show here too, but I think he's kinda dry. Dee is much more exciting

Having never heard Dee's show - I don't have any basis for comparison.

Randy Bachman also has a show - it's pretty interesting.

SC has to give props to Mr. Snider.  he has been married to his first and only wife since 1981.  That's 26 years.  Props to you Mr. Twisted Sister. 

Anyone know that Mr. Cooper has taught sunday school at the church he attends in Arizona?

SC I would say that's an accomplishment for an 80's band member to still be married.
