Chat room needed

Calorie count needs to add a chat room...what do u think?

We have daily chat threads.  One each work day, and two that seem to be active mostly at night.  Just jump on in them.  Everyone is friendly.

we'd love to have you check out squalor after hours chat for your chat of choice.

It's your lucky day too, we're taking new pledges, so bring your favorite condiment (whipped cream or any kind of syrup will earn you brownie points, please- don't bring mustard though, we're still picking dried clumps of it out of jfk's chest hair)

Also, was thinking that you could be able to write a status update, like on facebook...i.e.

Amy is aching all over from the 30 day shred workout

Amy is finding it so hard to resist the birthday cake in the office

etc etc?!

Ehh..  Maybe two years ago I would've loved a chat room (who could resist real time with HK?), but either I'm growing older or growing busier.  I'd rather just click around and see what's up occasionally, not having to worry about missing anything good besides when someone deletes their own thread with snicky remarks.

You can independently create your own IRC and spread the word to Calorie Counters, though.  I know of another forum I frequent who did the same thing.  While there're the occasional oddballs, especially when the website goes down and people need their "fix", for the most part they've got a strong group of regulars who participate.
