Yes. And No.

The site itself was just a site. It was less confusing and easier to navigate. Was the site truly better? I.. don't think so. It did some things better, CC+ does some things better.

I don't know what CCc users are talking about.  I can't relate.  Sorry.

I read through yesterday's chat, which ran into the wee hours.  There were a few "awkward bagel" moments.  I guess I'm just not phased by a different website design.

The new CC takes some getting used to, and I agree that, honestly, it's NOT as easy to navigate as CCC. It's not.

That said... well.... I have alot of thoughts, but they basically come down to.. I love CC. CC was here for ME when I needed it and is still here for me now. I don't really like the way this came about, but I do understand Erik and Igor's reasoning. It seems to me that people who are going to just outright QUIT because of CC+.. probably aren't getting out of CC what I have.

I'm still here, though the lack of Froth is disconcerting. And this day needs more coffee.

 Hopefully, the promised design update will take care of the poor design choices that plague the CC+ interface.

Is there a "slim view" on this thing anywhere?  One that hides everyone's avatars and slims up the posts?  Scrolling to keep up with Chat (everytime you refresh you get taken to the top of the page) sucks.

Not yet. But igor created a group where you can give feedback on the site. I know Laura joined it.

 No.  And the reason some people have a problem navigating here is that there is so much more.  I signed up for CC+ as soon as it as available, and I love it.  My suggestion is to take some time and click on everything.  Click on every menu option and every link.  It took me a little time to find my favorite features, and since some things are named differently (people instead of profile), it was a little confusing.

But here I am, 66 years old, a computer dunce, using most of the site.  If I can do it so can you.

I'm no computer dunce, but I *DO* agree, Claire, that the new site *IS* just.. not laid out as well as the first site. You do have to click more buttons to get where you want to go...
