My sister just got one, Jules.  She seems to like it.

The thing that really got me on this kick was 4 years ago, when my Mom was diagnosed with her brain tumor, I did some rersearch.  Although they weren't 100% sure of causes in this sort of tumor, they do feel that certain common items releasing carcinogens are possible causes.  Things like plastic, teflon, moth balls - all stuff my Mom used a lot. 

I rarely use non-stick pans now.  Only with my omelets and grilled cheeses maybe once a week.  I never microwave in plastic.  And on and on with what I can do to help myself.

Mom got into doing this stuff, or not doing it, the last couple years of her life, but based on my research, the damage was done years and years before that.

Sigg is supposed to be safe, although I read somewhere that some of those even have plastic linings.
