and since today is thursday, i will really have to do it

because tomorrow is friday and i'd like to take off early tomorrow

so, this work thing has really put me in a bind of having to actually do the work.

If I could work out as much as I chat in a day I would waste away, lol!

I know the feeling! I am the only admin assistant/paralegal in my office so the rest are attorneys and they are usually not the best people to have a conversation with unless you would like to sue someone, lol.

lol well that could come in handy at times!  but yeah, not really the best conversations.  you need variety

two of my cubies just have very archaic ideas on various subjects and i've found it best for me to just not engage in conversation.  this is a professional environment after all and i'm not too sure I can contain myself :-D  plus one of them is just the biggest whiner ever.  i just can't stand it.  so i just stay turned around staring at my monitor :-D

I know some here like that, but like you I tend to turn away.

And I wonder why I weigh so much, it is people that annoy me like this that make me want to eat to avoid such conversation. LOL

i tend to just get up and leave the cube and go for a walk around the floor :-)  stop and friends cubes that i enjoy talking to :-)  course, can't do that too often else the supervisor might start to wonder why i'm never at my desk

actually it's song lyrics from a bowie song.  the only poetry i can do is silly haikus :-D

the problem is that the week is just so uneven!  5 working days and 2 days off.  surely a 4/3 split would be a better balance, no?  :-)
