Good Morning HK.  How goes it?

This has been an ugly morning. First off, the hot water heater died and I had a cold shower. And then I walked up five flights of stairs, tried to get into my office, and found the lock unworking, so had to go back down and use the elevators.

I expect the power on the computer to cut out soon.

lonestar, well it's turned cold very suddenly, couldn't sleep last night because I was so cold and couldn't for the life of me warm up, I'm sitting here all huddled and I'm still cold :( I'm not sure what it is outside, but in my flat it's 62'F and that's with heating on....dddrrrrrrr :)

Reading an interesting article in the Washington Post basically asking why anyone ever believed this would pass. Were we just not paying attention to the fact that no one has any particularly good reason to trust our government right now to be capable? Or our anger at having to bail out a bunch of greedy millionares who'll end up walking away with plenty of cash from their own bad decisions?

It's an interesting post.
