mornin...K called me at 5 cryin, shes melting down, hasnt slept, has a test. poor baby, pushes herself too hard. ive been up a while. congrats on new home :)

Anyways, the new place is really nice. We can only keep it for a year, though. the owners wants it back next October, but... we'll deal with things one day at a time...

no just a test. she isnt sleeping but says she must have a 3.8 GPA after 4 years or they wont even consider her for PT school. so she does homework instead of sleeping. she is gonna melt down.

i had gotten her to where she would accept Bs...very reluctantly. over-acheiver to the nth! it can be hard to watch. very.

so we have this plus 5 more semesters of this. i told her health and sanity comes first. *shakes head*

It was the terms. We knew it when we went for the house. We're HOPING next year we move to OUR house.

She's young. She'll probably learn this lesson the hard way.

UT just cranked this all up a notch. weve been going through this since middle school? raising a hermoine granger or a lisa simpson has its own challenges. teaching them to ease up on the pushing whereas those underacheivers - you can never push enough. haha i had one of each. :)

well in a year yall will have a better idea of what you want since the n00b will be learning mad mobility skillz. :)

The one-year thing... it's not perfect, but it was the best we could do. In a year, we'll know alot of things... such as whether or not Congress will give the tax credit for first time homebuyers again or how much money we CAN save up, etc., what our budget allows, etc.

It's funny.. I'm a perfectionist, but I never gave a poop about grades. Mostly I didn't like performing. ;)

I'm sure you and K will work it all out. As I said, she might learn the hard way and it'll be hard, but she'll learn.

yeah and in a year you will own twice as much crap as you do now and it will all be for the n00b. amazing how much CRAP you need for a baby. its mind-boggling...

It took a bit of maturing before I cared about school.  Still, without the slacking of my youth during high school and my first semester of college, I wouldn't be able to say that I doubled my GPA. :D

I cared about education. I'm not sure I ever cared for the school/university experience. I did OK grade wise, though, being a perfectionist and all. The problem was when I tried to do something and failed. I had.. sometimes still have a very all-or-nothing attitude.

Morning HK, and Watergirl.  I have a new laptop, woohoo!  How is everyone?  It's really cold here today.  But colder tomorrow, low of 35 tonight.

Heya Lonestar. Doing OK. It's not that cold here, which is good as my fall jacket is MIA ;p

yay new laptop! it was 95 here yesterday, please blow your cold air to the south? but stop when you get dizzy.

It'll probably cool down out there soon, better find that jacket.  Glad the house hunt is over.  This might be the perfect rental since you know you want to buy next year if possible.
