I have made friday my weigh in day. It has helped me stay strong on the weekends....and well, the weekdays are usually easier because I am in a routine with work and packing my lunch. I also try to schedule two workouts over the weekend--it helps balance when things go a bit haywire.

Good luck, weekends are always hard.

I hate weekends too, there is just too much going on at my place and every one wants too eat. I'm trying really hard this weekend to stay focused. Hope you can too.

This is my first weekend on my diet and so far (touch wood) I've not gone over my calorie limit of 1300. I stayed in this weekend, did some house work, boring stuff, but I didn't want to tempt fate. I usually work weekends, which I'll be doing next weekend and the weekend after that I'm helping a friend arranging wedding flowers (for a customer) that will be a big test as it's in a hotel and I don't know what or when we'll be eating.
I have a friend in the medical field who says that it is actually good to take one day a week to splurg (but don't go too crazy...nothing over 4000 or something like that), but she says that it makes your body reajust its matabolism/calorie burning so your body doesn't get stuck in a rut...which would cause you to have a slow down in your weight loss.
So, don't feel badly if you let yourself go a little crazy one day a week...you are in fact, actually helping yourself reach your weight loss goals. =D
