Cheat Foods

I have a question.  What cheat food do you allow yourself to have?  Even if it's just one thing once a week, you count it in your calories and enjoy!

Mine is Yorkshire pudding.

Do you have that in America?

Nope!  No yorkshire pudding here.

But we do have nachos.  and those are my favorite.  I think I might get some tonight.  I can't decide between nachos (with beans, pulled pork BBQ, cheese, and other stuff on it) or a pulled pork bbq sandwich and fries.  Don't know...don't care :)

But yeah, my cheat food is usually nachos or pizza. :)  I'm a FIEND of both.
I love Yorkshire pudding - Especially with Rib of Beef- make it only on special occasions, though because of how hot the oven has to be....Yummy!
*I* have Yorkshire pudding here when my mom makes it. Mmmm.

My favorites are Kettle's spicy Thai potato chips, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, caramel brownies, thickcut peppered bacon, biscuits & honey and movie popcorn with butter.
I've never heard of this Yorkshire pudding.  You would think, as a fat man, that I might have heard of it at one point.  Please explain to me, for I am too lazy to look it up on google :)

We have that in Canada! Some of us have it as often as we can get it!
My summer calorie splurge-Iced cappucino, winter is potatoes and gravy or yorkshires and gravy...hmm...or anything with gravy!

Yorkshire Pudding is made of batter, is round and crisp and lovely.  We have it with roast beef, roast potatoes and vegetables for a Sunday dinner.  Look on Google you can get a lovely picture of it. God my mouth is watering.  That's just what I was looking at ohjanet
OMG, pizza, pizza, pizza.  I can & do make it healthfully & count THAT in my calories.  I'm talking fat-free cheese, high fiber, low carb tortillas - basically, "cardboard" pizza when you measure it up against the REAL stuff.

I also tend to ORDER pizza at minimum 2 times monthly.  I prefer the thicker the better.  The "breadier" the crust, the better. In fact, the more fatening the better. Ha ha.  I do NOT however even contemplate on how many calories are in each sinful slice I munch away.  I work hard to achieve the results I achieve athletically and food-wise, and the pizza provides me with little to no guilt.  In the beginning it was not that way.  But now, I just have a buck-wild day of eating, and then get back on-track the day after.  :-)

Also a close second: DONUTS.  Mmmmm.....Donuts.....
I tend to want salty stuff - potato chips honey roasted peanuts pretzels popcorn.  Luckily you can get a lot of these snacks in reduced fat varieties - except the nuts.

I seem to have gotten over my chocolate cravings which is great. I do have one day a week where I just eat and eat and eat - its usually good foods I just consume more than I should.
Used to be pizza but I solved that craving with Pepperoni Lean Pockets... I havn't had a real pizza in months.

I still have a vice though...

Once a month my buddies and I go get Roscoes Chicken and Waffles for breakfast... god himself could not have concocted a better tasting meal :)
I don't count my vitamins, other then that no. Isn't the whole thing with this counting everything? I mean I go over on calories but I try to count even that.
PS finewine yorkie (Yorkshire pudding) batter is close to popover batter. You bake in with the fats and juices from the roast.

I'm talking about food that isn't good for you but sometimes you just have to have.  You shouldn't deny yourself everything all the time.  You just eat a bit less through the day so you can enjoy the one food you love.
pastry...fats...juices...sounds DELICIOUS.  I'm having some horrible nachos tonight, and I can't wait.  It's friday, I've maintained my weight for over a month now...and its my last night in town with my one buddy for a few weeks.  So I'm gonna celebrate and get nachos, woooo!

I don't blame you.  You have to just let go sometimes and bloody well enjoy yourself.  Also I think you enjoy it more, when you plan for it and you can look forward to the day you just let go.
Helen, are we long-lost sisters?
Mmmmm chocolate - have to have some every few days or I'll go
crazy.  That and the occaisional glass of wine.  They're both
good for you right - antioxidants etc ? :-)
Well I eat lots of "bad" food (I must have miss read your first post) I just count all of it and fit it under my target...like last night's pasta with a brown butter sage sauce or tonights buffalo chicken roll ups. What ever it is I count it and fit it.
Ice cream, cake, and burgers! YUM!!!!!!

And i LOOOOOOOOOVE yorkshire pudding. And mfchill, you are the first person other than my mother that i have heard refer to popovers.   In fact,  my mom calls yorkshire pudding popovers.  So wonderful.  I just love them.
