CHEATED SO BAD!! words of motivations...anyone?
So...my sister had her going away party at work and she brings home one of those giant chocolate chip cookies with the icing on them...well i like them alot...and its been in the fridge for about 2 days...and i was doing good...didn't touch it...but i wanted it soooo bad...i felt like a crack addict...so i came on here and tried doing all the things to ward off a craving...drank mass water...had other healthy snacks...went for walks...but it haunted me i even barked at the rest of my family members to finish it so i wouldn't...its like i could here it calling from the fridge...so about 5 minutes ago...i go to the kitchen, pull it out sit at the table and eat it...knowing it was wrong and knowing it was bad...but not caring...i ate what was left of it.......i could't just take one bite...but now...its gone...and i don't feel so haunted by it...i've been dieting for about a month and half...i thought that'd i have SOME control by now...so i have no calories left for the rest of the day...i guess that'll teach me~

I have that also when it comes to brownies. I could seriously eat the whole pan, and I have before. But it happens. All you can do is eat heathly the rest of the day and work out some. I think you shouldn't deprive yourself. Because if you do, you'll binge on it and feel horrible later. It's not worth that feeling to me. I have been doing so much better with my will power, but I do slip from time to time, and it is ok.
It's okay. I ate 4 donuts (yep 4) Wednesday. Ate low cal rest of the day, and didn't do it again, yet, lol.
Forgive yourself and move on.

Everybody messes up their diet. I always try to do REALLY well with snacking and counting calories every day all week... until Saturday. That's the only day my boyfriend and I have off together, so I try to make a nice breakfast, sdo something outdoors with him, lounge about for a while, and make a nice dinner. But usually he'll pull out a Drumstick (those sundae ice cream cones) from the freezer. I tell him I can't have one, but he cheats me into it anyways. So I always mess up Saturdays. But Sundays I get right back on the wagon and work out and diet perfectly for the rest of the week... until the following Saturday! Just try to keep it regulat. Also, I have a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter every day and it fills me up and starts my day off right! Try it, see if it curbs your craving.
Also, my mom was a personal trainer and she said that if you really crave something, just have it. If you wait too long, you end up eating the whole jar of peanut butter! Instea dof just the 2 tbs you would have had 3 days ago.

Tomorrow is a new day. Let it go and move on.
Do some extra pennace in the gym if you feel you must.
One thing I have added is a chocolate slimfast late in the day - helps with the 3 pm munchies and I get my chocolate fix. Helps me fight of the call of the M&Ms in the breakroom vending machine.
PS Chocolate chips cookies are one of my great vices too. - That and Cheese. Ask yourself if it was worth it. Sometimes the answer is YES.

Don't worry about it!! You can't avoid chocolate chip cookies for the rest of your life; they're always going to be there. A bad day will do you no harm in the long run, and maybe it's good that you feel so much guilt. I remember a time when I would make multiple trips to the pantry and think nothing of having what probably accumulated to a dozen cookies. Every once in a while (for me it's holidays and special occasions), throw calorie counting out the window and eat that cookie! It's for sanity's sake! Just don't go overboard....
Seems like most people have the right idea, you really need to forget about it and move on. Don't beat yourself up over this. I think you really need to set up a reward system for yourself. I think you fought off the cravings for so long you caved completely. Instead go ahead and have some (ok maybe not all of it), but enough to satisfy the craving.
Next time break off a piece and tell yourself you will enjoy it the next day. Just make sure you eat your piece, if you need to get rid of the rest somehow.. and not by eating it. :)
Don't worry, the good thing is tomorrow is a new day and start from there. I've heard it called a u-turn. When you are driving and miss your turn you simply make a u-turn at the next availability. Keep it simple and good luck. :)

My mom buys unhealthy food she knows I like and I let them sit for as long as I possibly can and when I am about to eat them... I throw them away. Not the whole box or whatever it is, but I throw away the amount I would have eaten. Yeah it's wasting food but is the alternative that much better?
If you have food cravings, try looking for some low cal "healthy reipes" for your favorites. Nature's Promise brand foods are health/organic oriented, and offer a wide variety of 'craving' foods in low calorie snacks.
I am sorry. That really sucks. the same thing happens to me with cake. i have been trying to diet forever. i lose weight and then it comes backwhen i eat something. But dont get discouraged. you can always remeber that tomorrow is a brand new day, and drink loads of water. i know you did already but after a while it works. and try chewing gum,bc it keeps taste in ur mouth.
for the past few days, iv been eating like mad. its my time of month and it has taken over me. whatever is in front of me...im eating it. i ate mexican food last night plus 2 pints of ben and jerrys (i shared it with my bf but when he left...i ate more).
today is a new day. starting off well... hopefully since i finally got myself to the gym last week.. that i can keep it up and will eat better.

every time im with my boyfriend i eat unhealthy we just had mexican food the other night and then icecream last night....i ordered chicken fajitas with rice beans, salsa, sourcream, guacomole and it was like 1000 calories...i was shocked but it was good...the past week i've been eating unhealthy but still staying within my calories...except today its sunday so i'm gonna get back on the ball eating healthy food.
I am just glad that I am not the only one.... The pastry kept calling my name . So I ate it and three of it's buddies... that shut them up....I felt so guilty the rest of the day.
I just hate that people keep bringing junk to work and my office is right next to the kitchen so I walk by all the "goodies" everytime I leave my office.
I am locking myself in today!

I have taken to throwing stuff away. Once its in the trash i wont touch it. so for example, last month i was DYING for a cupcake. They only came in four packs. I ate one and was eating the second when i realised i was going to eat them all. I went to the trash opened the container and watched them fall. i have no seld control. If its there I eat it, so i got rid of it before too much damage was done. I also agree with everyone that you have to forgive yourself and move on to tommorow. i think once you cut the guilt the binging incidence slowly disappear. I have them far less often now.
