CHEATERS....What is America Coming to?

Quote  |  Reply

HEHEHE..so check it it people…

I knew America was F’ed up, but DAMN!!!! When you are married…that’s it man…no more chasin’ booty.  They have a site where married people can go on and cheat on their husband or wife.  WTF.  And get this….ohhhhh you’re gunna love this...the site: AshleyMadison.com is named after the guy’s daughters…and they are like little kids.  I guess this really is the home of the free and brave where people can profit off of cheating spouses.  Not only that, but he even made the slogan “Life is short…Why not have an affair”…hahahaha.  I gotta give it to him though…he is exploiting something that will make him rich….QUICK!!!!!.

I told my girl if she ever saw me on that crap … that she has the permission to shoot me in the eyeball and rip off my balls.  I mean what do you think seeing a site like this? By the way…some women might want to check and see if their husbands are on there…you might get a RUDE surprise!!!!!!

Hey,

I can understand the frustration.......my sister who has been married for nine years, has a six year old son, spent the last 3 years trying to conceive their second child, invetro, fert pills, you name it they tried it (she has PCOS and one ovary to boot) anyway, she went through three miscarriages and FINALLY this past August she got pregnant and made it!  She's now 5 months pregnant and two weeks before Thanksgiving her husband met his "soul mate" online and ran off to Florida!  Yep........this world is pretty bad....  I blame much on technology for failing marriages although I'm one for using the computer but it sure is a way for a person to persue it for purposes beyond a spouses knowledge to say the least....

 That's just plain wrong....damn...

I mean I've dated two women at a time, they knew about each other, but when you MARRIED?...that's the key word man....WTF...lol...eeehhhh....what you gunna do.  It would be crazy if some guy or woman from CC went on there and caught their spouse...uugghhhh the drama.  And the fool had the gall to name it after his little daughters...

Grass is always greener...

Though people tend to forget, the new grass requires the same maintenance as the existing.

For those of you with a tad more respect for your spouse, might I suggest "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work".

It helped me see all the things that we're doing right, how to improve the things we're weren't and all in all was great peace of mind.

The guy has turned 30+ years of scientific study and lab work into the ability to predict with a 91% accuracy rate whether or not a couple will divorce after listening to them converse for 5 minutes.

I saw this on Tyra Banks' show: AshleyMadison.com is actually named after the two most popular baby names of some recent year. The owner of the site picked those two names because it would make the site seem discrete (moreso than www.cheatonyourspouse.com... not sure if that's a real site! haha)

There's commercials for it here, I couldn't believe it myself either.

Thanks for the tip, Eddie.

Can't say I fully agree with this.  The amount of effort needed to make my second marriage WORK is INFINITELY less than the amount needed to make my first marriage FAIL!

Thought I would check out the site to see if any familiar faces showed up. Just for fun. Looks like you have to register to get much farther than the home page.

I'm kind of glad that I didn't see what I went lookin' for....ya' never know what ya' might find.

As with all things, your mileage may vary.

Wow.  Just...wow.  I'm speechless at some people's lack of morals and sense of decency.

Interesting business concept... find something people are doing already and capitalize on it. I'm sure they'll do well.

That said, not everything in life is black and white. Take, for instance, a fellow I've heard of who is living in Japan. Wife, couple of kids, he's doing okay, healthy, in shape... life should be good, right?

You'd think... except he has sex with his wife maybe a couple/few times A YEAR. That's all she's interested in. Not out of anything he's done, mind you. She's just not interested generally. The marriage is otherwise sound, the kids happy, and there is still love in the relationship... just a near non-existant sex life.

So what does he do? Does he suck it up and deal with living a miserable, sexless life or develop a mile-high stack of Hentai to help while away the lonelier hours, but with the woman he loves? Does he break up the marriage because his needs aren't being met, throwing everything into chaos?  Does he engage in the japanese de facto prostitution-lite route of compensated dating? Does he try to connect with someone else extramaritally? If he does decide to hook up with someone, which is better: a random connection in some local bar while under the influence of watered down sake, or a website where he can find a woman who has been similarly "sexually discarded" by her husband?

None of the options are particularly palatable, and the reality is that these sorts of scenarios have been playing out the world over long before the advent of the internet. Just now there's someone with a computer and a willingness to make a buck off it.

This is utterly ridiculous.. but I know that it happens.

People encouraging, or enabling, people to cheat, is wrong in so many ways.

Why don't marriage vows mean the same thing anymore?

And anyone thinking that the "Grass is Greener",,,, It isn't always!

Gee.  Maybe the US is finally catching up to France's level of immorality.

Yes I heard this on Z100 as well one day!! Some people might not agree with me but alot of people who are in marriages cheat are not happy at all. They tend to not want to leave because of whatever reason - stability, finanacial reasons, kids, etc.  So they do there thing on the side. It's utterly wrong but at the same time, some people are cowards!!

This guy saw this as a way of making money! HA! What a profession he decides to pick. I wonder if he himself is married. I doubt he has any trust issues (YEH RIGHT) in his marriage if he is.

I wouldnt dare go look on that site.

Heh.  That's probably the best match of avatar to thread I've ever seen. :D
