Wow, that lady was gorgeous. Whats depressing is I would rather look like the bottom one. Am I really that twisted? Sheesh.
that is really something. The woman is indeed beautiful and it is a very, very sad commentary that a size 12 is considered too large...
ew. Marianne Berglund has gross hips. I'm very happy with my cushin' for the pushin.'
Wow she is gorgeous - the top one. Thank you for posting that.
Out of curiosity is a UK size 12 the same as a US size 12? I lived in London for a bit but I don't remember. I know Australian sizes are not the same as US.
No, UK size 12 is a US 8 or 10 - offically an 8 but of course they vary!
The bottom one looks like she needs to spend a few months eating at mcdonalds. The top one is beautiful but needs some boobs to fill in the top of that suit. She is a size 12? Honestly looking at her she looks to be about a size 9/10 not a 12. She really isnt big at all at least by my standards of what BIG is.
I think that's a 12 UK Angie, so it would be about a US 8 if I have my math correct. I agree, she's beautiful. :)
This story was kinda warped.. I'm so glad she won!
I realize the skinny bottom one most likely doesn't eat enough and is unhealthy to look like that... but don't insult the uncurvy, skinny, straight women! We can be beautiful too!
Jen was a very large UK12 (US 8) possibly bigger but she was also very tall, and more importantly she was an utter bitch!
At the start of the series they said she was too big to be a super model as sample catwalk clothes are made a UK8 (US4) so she wouldnt fit the dresses. She vowed to get fitter, lose some weight and get healthier, that didnt happen. She moaned her way through every exercise class, constantly ate junk and then played on her size to win the viewers votes each week. She kept making out she was doing it for all the normal women to prove a point, but when things got hard she faked illness and fainting and the owned up to the faking as her illness meant she was going to miss a trip to Iceland. She was a nasty, 2 faced and very negative. The votes from larger ladies won her the competition but in 12 months i doubt shes had any work as ive never seen her face again.
Yes that photo does show a beautiful womanly woman, but theres more to it than mets the eye. The poor runner up lost out as there was a backlash against using such a skinny girl,

im sorry, i hadn't seen the show, i just came across the article and thought it was neat.
oops sorry didnt mean to launch at you, that girl just really annoyed me. I hate people that play the victim. Shes a pretty girl though and you are right it just shows that at a large 12UK she still looked good as was in proportion with her height (though does have wobbly had-a-baby-belly)
