I myself had been roped in on the diet pill fads that are supposed to help with weight loss. I have found them to be a waste of money. What works for me is portion control and going to the gym with a buddy. What good is being skinny if you cause yourself digestive disorders or worse. Who knows what the long term effects are.
For the money, I would rather use it for a gym membership. Popping a pill does not teach you how to live a healthy lifestyle. Heck, why don't they just invent a home lypo suction kit for the world that needs results right away? Are we all becoming ADD or what? Do I want my weight loss to take so long....NO, but am I willing to give in to an "easy fix" that will not teach me the healthy way, no, if I was, why not just get gastric bypass surgery?
bill (the only magic pill I want is one that will let my hair grow back :0p )

for some reason a diet pill that says it only works if you eat a calorie restricted diet and you exercise sounds like a placebo.
it also reminds me of the "intimate gels" they sell at the market that say to rub it on the clitoris for a few minutes...uhh.... if you're doing that in the first place, you don't need the gel.
sorry if that was blunt or rude, but seriously.... what people will pay money for these days.

I don't doubt that there will be people who will look to this as a magic pill and won't diet or exercise. But, that's their problem. The rest of the world shouldn't be penalized because of their stupidity.
The pill will undoubtedly help a lot of people who need that extra motivation, or for whom dieting is such a long process.
I certainly will not criticize anyone who chooses to use it.

There seems to be other diet "pills" over the counter and perscription that have much worse side effects than the current "new" pill. Maybe more side effects will discovered in the future. I hope not for the sake of those that use this pill. Abuse of any drug, over the counter or otherwise, will happen even with warning lables. Side effects of this pill might be nasty and uncomfortable or even embarassing, but those with systems prone to this kind of problem KNOW they should not be using this drug. Some will anyway.
