Cheese Crackers Recipe

Makes 14 servings


These taste somewhat like Cheeze-Its Makes 144 small crackers @ 10 crackers per serving.

Ingredients
8 oz Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 tsp Salt
3/8 tbsp Cumin
3/8 tbsp Onion Powder
3/8 tbsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tbsp Cayenne
1/4 cup Oat bran
1 cup, soy flour, stirred
1/2 cup Soy Protein
Directions
  1. Combine cheese and butter in food

  2. processor. Add salt, spices, and oat

  3. bran and process. Add soy protein

  4. isolate and process. Add soy flour and

  5. process.

  6. Remove dough from food processor.

  7. Knead some. Divide into two pieces.

  8. Roll each piece into a log about 1 1/4

  9. inch in diameter. Freeze.

  10. Thaw slightly in refrigerator. Slice very

  11. thinly. Place slices on baking sheet

  12. and bake at 375°F for 8 - 10 minutes.

  13. Cool on baking sheet.
