Does anyone know how to guesstimate cheese by the ounce?  I try to imagine slicing into the serving size but if their is a comparasion I can go by then my calorie count will be closer..

it is about the size of 2 dominos

Really!?  Wow, I've been really overestimating my cheese!

(fyrfli, you made my day!)

I come to the realization, I should not buy cheese, I have been putting mozzerella on everything today..

I have found that feta is very low in calories.

Ah, I do the same thing =/  I got a little block of pepperjack last night and I've LOOKED (hard...) for ways to use it as often as possible.

(Same with the Jordan almonds that I bought with the cheese yesterday as evidenced by the fact that I had some for breakfast and as part of my post-work out snack)

Softer cheeses like mozzarella and cream cheese have about 80.  Hard cheeses like cheddar and jack have about 110.

I know that fat free mozzarella has 45.

provolone is nice, too.  i usually buy about eight ounces and cut it into eigths.. it's a nice 100 calorie snack here and there.
