cheese-oholic!
I've always heard that cheese is the worst food when trying to lose weight. But I can't help it! cheese is my love. Cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, mozza, swiss.... marble...string cheese. If i had to cut out cheese I wouldn't make it. Do you really think me eating cheese every day will keep me from losing weight?? Anyone else addicted to cheese?
No way! I eat cheese just about every day. And it's real cheese, not the low-fat kind. I've lost about 20 lbs and am now maintaining. Just don't eat too much.
cottage cheese is amazing! i still eat cheese just the lower fat types and in smaller quantities (ie, i dont eat massive lumps of brie anymore lol)
I love cheese too! But I'm better off without dairy :( A few weeks ago I suddenly had cheese cravings, which was weird because I've never had cravings before even when I was pregnant lol I just kept on at it until I was fed up of cheese toasties, cheese on toast, and my fave macaroni cheese.
You could always have it as a little treat every day. One with a good strong flavour and you won't need as much :D
Cottage cheese is exactly the opposite, actually.
it's a dieter's DREAM.
Just try to get the fat free kind.
You get so much protein and it's a kind that takes a long time to digest, thus you burn more calories AND stay fuller, longer! :D
I love cheese too. My tip - buy as strong and as mature a cheese as possible, then you need less to get a good cheesey taste. :op
Thanks! I have 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese about 3 days a week... but I also have cheese on some other things.. but not lots at one time!
ok fat free cottage cheese is like empty food. you need fat in your diet theres nothing wrong with regular cottage cheese it is good for you as with full fat normmal cheese.... low fat and fat free things are more processed

I actually can't handle full fat cottage cheese. I only like fat free... but I do eat regular of other cheeses.
I love cheese too. It's a weakness. Cottage cheese is a great thing to eat while dieting! Not to mention extremely yummy. :)
I love cheese too!! I don't think you should cut it out.. I mean, it works for the french ;)
If you want more than one ounce, you could do what I sometimes do and buy a little grocery store block of cheese (these are usually about 8 oz= 800-900 calories or maybe less depending on the cheese, but I always get the full fat real stuff because it's more satisfying..), and then go home, and cut it into four equal pieces, from those, separate the four pieces and cut them into cubes. Stick them in the fridge and have your 1/4th of cubes with some tomato slices and a glass of wine for lunch on a crisp fall day. That should be about 500-600 calories, which is a bit much, but you should have atleast 400 calories left for Dinner, which you should keep kinda low in fat and simple carbs after that treat for lunch :)
i love cheese! i am really into low fat string cheese... one stick, 70 calories, delicious!

How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
