Recipe Ingredients for chicken, Brussel Sprout, Bacon Pasta

1 medium Onions
35 sprout Brussels Sprouts
10 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
4 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese
2 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
6 oz dry Whole Wheat Penne
1 serving Sherry
2 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for chicken, Brussel Sprout, Bacon Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain; transfer to a large bowl.

  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add bacon and cook until fat is rendered and golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a plate lined with a paper towel. Discard all but one tablespoon bacon fat from skillet. Add chicken, brussel sprouts, onions and saute until they start to soften. Add garlic and saute until fragrant, 1 minutes. Add vermouth and shrry and continue to cook until brussel sprouts are tender. Add cream and simmer until reduced and thickened. Stir in salt and pepper.

  3. Add brussel sprouts and bacon to the pasta. Toss with cheese to combine. Serve with extra cheese on the side.
