Chicken Leg Vs Drumstick?

Quote  |  Reply

Okay so I was looking up calories, and a drum stick is 78 calories and a chicken leg is 181 calories(Without skin). Whats the difference? I have 3 small chicken legs in my refridgerator and I was going to have it for dinner. But I would like to know how I should log it?

go by the grams of meat. the drumstick one shows 57gms,, the chicken leg is 114g bone removed so I would probably go with the drumstick. but I would say weigh the actual meat.

Ehh, no measuring scale! I think I will just go with the highest calories possible so I know I don't go over my calorie limit by acciedent :o

A drumstick is just the lower part of the leg, a whole chicken leg includes the thigh and is much larger.
