Yummy chicken noodle soup.
| 16 | cups water |
| 2 | pounds whole chicken |
| 1 | large onion, chopped |
| 4 | carrots, grated |
| 4 | celery stalks, sliced |
| 1 | clove garlic |
| 8 | ounces fresh noodles |
| 1 | tbsp salt, seasoned |
| 1/2 | tsp black pepper |
| 1/2 | tsp red pepper |
- Boil half a four-pound chicken in water on high heat until tender. Remove chicken; set aside to cool.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add onion, carrot, celery, garlic & spices. Simmer for 20 minutes. Pick chicken, discard skin and bones. Chop chicken into pieces and add to soup.
- Reduce heat to low. Chop noodles into 1 to 2 inch pieces. Add to soup and let simmer 10 minutes.
