2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 ounces ginger
1/2 cup diced onions
16 ounces chicken thighs
2 cups chicken broth
1 pinch of pepper
1 cup chayotes
2 tsp lemon
3 tbs fish sauce

Recipe Directions for Chicken Tinola

  1. Sautee garlic, onions, ginger in vegetable oil

  2. Add chicken and pinch of pepper

  3. Add fish sauce and let it simmer

  4. Add 2 cups of chicken broth and let it boil

  5. Add choyotes

  6. Add some lemon to taste
