I am so sorry to bother people but I need some help. I made chili soup.

I tried using the calorie analyzer but I just can not believe the amount of calories it says are in it. According to Cc analyzer there are over 4000 calories in a pot of chili but when I add the calories up myself from the stuff I used and I get a total of 2575 so my question is which one should I go by.

Go by your calculations. CC might have subbed a different ingredient for one that you used, so double check the calorie counts for each individual ingredient. Also, make sure you have properly listed the amount of servings it makes.

see thats the thing there also cause how do i know how many servings are in it.

Here's what I do.  Make a list of all the ingredients and the amounts used.  Look up the total number of calories/nutrients/etc.  Then I usually divide things up into 1 cup portions - putting them into serving/freezing dishes as I go.  Then I take the total calories and divide it by the number of servings I end up with.

your awesomesauce lynnmm thanks so much!!!
