So.... I had Chili's for dinner this evening with a very good friend of mine and now I'm hating myself.  We each had 2 margaritas (plain on the rocks, no salt), split a spinach dip, and I had the appetizer platter of the chicken quesadillas, only eating about 2/3 of it.  This meal was close to 2000 calories in itself (and I thought I did semi-alright!)

How do I fix this for the rest of the week?  What do I need to do for the rest of the week to be sure this little meal doesn't come back to bite me in the you know what?!

HELP!

Exercise a little bit more tomorrow, eat moderately, and don't beat yourself up.

Next time you go to Chili's get the chicken i think it's the santa fe sandwich? It comes on a wheat bun, take of the top bun and eat it with knife and fork. It's satisfying and you don't feel like you're missing out. I'd lay off the margs though.

IT'S OK!!!!!!!

I don't believe that one day of increased calories will undo all of your hard work. Think of it as a major Zig in your diet and continuing on your way without stressing will be your Zag.  =)

Inhale and think happy thoughts.  Seriously, you should reconsider eating at that place again.

Obviously, you haven't seen this - http://www.wn.com/Calorie

They lie like rugs on their menu and even their "guiltless" stuff is worse than a Big Mac.

Yea I know.  It's got to be one of the worst restaurants out there for eating... the menu is horrendous and you're correct... even the guiltless grill is not great.

BUT, thank you for all the positive comments- I fell off the wagon, but today I got up early, went to the gym, had a great work out, and it's back to my normal routine.  :)

We all have to remember that we have to LIVE too.  One bad day does not negate all the hard work you are doing.  If you go to Chili's once or even twice a year - its not going to make all that much of a difference.  Talk a walk after you eat - or not, but don't deprive yourself of the occasional splurge.  We all deserve it!
