Chippy Food
Does anybody know the calorie and fat content of a standard sausage and chips from your average UK chip shop?
Battered sausage or plain?
Large, medium or small portion of chips?
Plain sausage and an average portion you get in a chippy
Chip shop chips can range from about 350 calories for a small portion to anywhere around 600 or so. It really depends on the thickness, too.
Sausage... again, it depends on the size. Was it quite long? You're probably looking at least 200 calories a sausage either way and that may be me being generous.

Theres such a thing as battered sausge? Is that like corn dog or real sausage? Wait dont answer that - I dont need to know (and I thought nuts were my only weakness).
If I have chippy chips I usually call it around 800-1000, if it's planned then I eat light for the day and if not I eat lighter the next 1-2 days.
Don't forget about the amount of salt they put on too, it's best to stay off the scales the morning after.
Sun123, it's a real sausage - and it's goooooood. :o)
Fun fact for you: battered fish, originally, was never intended to be eaten with the batter on. The batter was used to make the fish meat moist and was removed before eating.
Sun: There is! It's a bit like a corn dog.
