Chips= frustration D:

Quote  |  Reply

I'm 16 so I still live with my parents and every time we go to the grocery store my mom ALWAYS ends up buying...

-a family size chips bag

-double stuffed oreos

-Pop Tarts

and beilive me it's hard trying to live a little bit healthier with all those temptations just waiting to be eaten..

*sigh*

Of course I buy a lot of fruits and vegetables it's just that sometimes the temptation is too much.

I already asked my mom if she could stop buying that but she tells me that I'm the fat one not them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yikes, that wasn't very nice. It is great that you buy lots of fruit and vegetables and indulging in the occasional cookie or chip is not bad. As long as you don't go crazy and are accounting for the calories in your daily amount. Seriously though. If you are really wanting a cookie, try a peice of fruit first and see if the sugar from that satisfies your craving. If not, then have a cookie. Just make sure you set an amount to have. If you go for the chips, don't take the whole bag. Take out about ten or so chips, hide the bag, and go eat the chips elsewhere. That way you are not tempted to mindlessly reach into the bag for more. Hang in there. I hope this helps you some.

quite frankly no one should be eating that stuff on a weekly basis anyways. tell her your worried about her health and eating that kind of processed crap so often can shorten her life. doesn't matter if she's over weight, dieting or not. that kind of stuff should just be saved for a every now and then if any at all
