Chocolate Cake

Quote  |  Reply

Okay, everybody, I have proof that just looking at/thinking about chocolate cake can make you gain weight:

It was my birthday this week and some friends brought me a chocolate cake yesterday to celebrate. I had one small piece yesterday and decided this morning to give the rest of the cake to my neighbors in order to avoid the temptation. So, anyhow, this morning I did my weekly weigh-in and took my dog for a quick walk. When I came back inside, I saw the cake and momentarily thought about having one more piece before taking it to the neighbor's house. Fortunately, I talked myself out of it, but about 10 minutes later I decided to weigh one more time before eating breakfast. And guess what? I had gained 1 lb. since getting up! (And, no, I hadn't eaten or drank anything in between the two weigh-ins.)

The only logical conclusion here is that chocolate cake calories can enter your body via the eyeballs, just as we have always suspected Undecided

LOL I grabbed a Cinnabon bag from my brother and inhaled really deeply and actually had a .4 lb difference. I thought I was nuts! XD
