Chocolate Chip Cookies - makes about 60 (5 dozen)
| 1/2 | cup Applesauce |
| 1/2 | cup SPLENDA Sugar Blend for Baking |
| 1/2 | cup SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend |
| 1 | tsp vanilla |
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 1/4 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1 | tsp baking soda |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 11 1/2 | oz Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chunks (1 bag) |
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Beat applesauce, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs; beat well.
- Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to sugar mixture, beating until well blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack; cool completely.
