Chocolate-Dipped Peanut Butter Crisp Balls

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate-Dipped Peanut Butter Crisp Balls

1 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup organic maple syrup
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup Barbara's Brown Rice Crisps Cereal
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Chocolate-Dipped Peanut Butter Crisp Balls

  1. In a bowl, blend the peanut butter, maple syrup, and wheat germ. Add in the rice cereal.

  2. Scoop out a heaping tablespoon and roll into a ball using your hands. Place the balls on a cookie sheet.

  3. Chill the peanut butter balls in the fridge for at least an hour so they become firm.

  4. After the hour, it's time to melt the chocolate. Place the chips in a small bowl. Heat some water in a small pot and place the bowl of chips on top. Stir until it's completely melted, then remove the bowl from the heat.

  5. Take the balls out of the fridge. Use a spoon to drop a ball one at a time in the metled chocolate. Roll it around to coat, then place it on a lined baking sheet (waxed or parchment paper, or a Silpat mat works).

  6. Pop the chocolate-covered balls back in the fridge.
