Whole wheat Ritz crackers with peanut butter, dipped in Chocolate flavored coating. The "Almond Bark" candy coating was not in the data base so I had to use the chocolate entry. THE TRUE CALORIES for this is 141 CALS FOR 1 COOKIE.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate dipped peanut butter Wheat Ritz crackers

15 ounce Ritz Wheat
6 ounces peanut butter
37 ounces chocolate

Recipe Directions for Chocolate dipped peanut butter Wheat Ritz crackers

  1. Use chocolate flavored candy coating instead of regular chocolate or you will have to use parrafin, a cumbersome step. The cals are a little more but it's worth it.

  2. Fill an icing decorating bag, parchment, or a zip lock bag (with a quarter inch cut out of one bottom corner) with Reese's Brand peanut butter. Squeeze out a little less than 1 teaspoon onto a cracker, place another cracker on top to make a little "sandwich". Set aside and continue until the whole box is done.

  3. Lay out a large piece of wax or parchment paper or foil on a good flat surface.

  4. Melt the almond bark chocolate as directed on package.

  5. Use a fork or tongs to dip and flip the cookies into the melted chocolate, make sure excess choc. falls back into the bowl and then place the cookie on the paper or foil. Let them sit util firm and set.

  6. They are best if placed in the fridge and served cool, but they keep well at normal room temps.
