Chocolate PB2 - Yum!

I received my first shipment of PB2 this morning. I was going to order just 4 jars of the regular but I got to the website and saw they had chocolate so I ordered 2 of each. I was surprised at how light the jars are! I like the regular PB2, I think it will be good mixed with water in sandwiches, but the chocolate PB2 was great! It doesn't exactly taste like Reeses, it's a bit different. But it's so yummy! I think it would taste good mixed with regular or frozen yogurt, or in a smoothie. I had a spoon straight out of the jar but I kind of coughed on it, lol. It's so good! Has anyone tried it?

I still have 2 regular jars to get through until I order my 4 more. I better start eating my peanut butter.

etah - It took about 6 days after I ordered, but I ordered right before a weekend. I bet it would probably get to you by next Thursday or so.

Right now I think it's only online. That's what I read on Hungry Girl and I haven't seen it in any stores (but I live in kind of a small town, lol).

star - what are some of the things you use your regular PB2 for? Besides sandwiches and smoothies/yogurt. I'm trying to get some ideas :)

I also don't know what to eat it with... I could eat peanut butter out of the jar, but yeah. :P

My local grocer carries PB2 (thank goodness!), and the last time I went to purchase a jar, I ran into PB2 chocolate.  I decided to give it a try.  While it was pretty tasty, it doesn't even compare to regular PB2,  IMHO.  I think with the PB2 chocolate, a lot of the peanut butter taste is covered by the chocolate.  I would take peanut butter over chocolate any day, which is probably why I prefer original.  Anyways.. I recommend trying both to see what you prefer!  I love adding PB2 to oatmeal.. and one of my absolute favorite recipes is light vanilla soy milk, frozen banana chunks, and a serving of PB2 in my blender... it's SUCH a decadent smoothie, and very healthy!  Sometime I just eat a spoonful out of the jar, too :)

I ordered the chocolate PB2 after reading this thread and received my order last night.  I have to say, it is the nastiest tasting stuff I've tried in a long time.  Nobody in my family likes it.  Tried it mixed into yogurt today and gagged.   Maybe it tastes better after you haven't had real peanut butter in a very long time?  Or maybe the regular PB2 tastes better? 

Anyway, darn.  I was really hoping it was as good to me as it is to all of you.

I just got some PB2 and PB2 Chocolate. How do you get consistency right? I followed directions and it was too thin. When I tried adding less water powder didn't mix. :( I was hoping to have it on toast, with oatmeal, but I guess now I just have to mix it in to oatmeal when I cook it.

I   know the website netrition.com sells PB2 by the jar instead of the 4 pack on bell plantation's site...i'm not positive if they sell the chocolate though, but their shipping is $5 flat so it's a good way to try it for the first time or to get a couple jars at once instead of the 4...

I ordered the same package not too long ago and it's suppose to arrive on Friday and I'm sooo excited lol.  I haven't had regular peanut butter in the house for some time cause i tend to binge when it's around.  I'm glad to hear you like it!  I can't wait.
