Funny this should come up.  Was at a get-together a while ago with all sorts of appetizers that I just didn't want to eat.  All super high fat or junk. However, there were sliced apples on the table too and I was so hungry I ate a piece.  For the longest time I disliked apples, mostly for the texture.  But that apple!  Wow!  The next day I ran off to the grocery and bought a dozen giant-sized Honeycrisp apples and eat at least one or two every day now!

lol, SO funny+so simple! i LOVE apples, eat at least 2 a day!

i also discovered the candy bar called Pay Day, theyre sooo good! bought a huge bag after haloween on sale!!

anyone have any new discoveries??

I tried Pistachios for the first time last night. I've had pretty much every nut there is (haven't met one I haven't liked yet! Ha Ha. :P) Can't believe I've never tried Pistachios before, but they are really good! I can see myself including these into daily snacks. :)

Didn't know what 'whoppers' were, so I just googled them :p

As for me, my new discoveries were:

Pomegranate! I had my first one this week :) Took me forever to eat, though.

Toasted almonds are so much better than raw.

Not realy new but I recently started doing it because I found out it was soooo good. I make an egg beater sandwich and I ussually top it with salsa, but now I heat up some sugar free log cabin maple syrup and use it as a dipping sauce for the egg sandwich! Really good Laughing

Im having a Meatball Sub-SOOO good (not supposed to eat tomato sauce bc of acid reflux, but it was in the house, whats a girl to do??) lol

Pistachios r GREAT!!

i get brown cinimmon sugar almonds-theyre great, the chocolate ones r very good too!!

i cant eat eggs but it sounds, interesting, lol

any other new discoveries? sometimes the simplest things r the best!

Pierogies! (if you haven't heard of them, similar to chinese dumplings... but filled with cheese, and pan-fried)

For the longest time I thought I hated them but they're delicious!

Whoppers are good except they taste really chemical.

I was always repulsed by sushi, until i had some my cousin made for her birthday. Dont know if she made them wrong, but boyyyyy were they good! Especially dipped in soy sauce!

PEIROGIES! yes, ofcourse i know them!! i like the potato and potato+mushroom ones, w/sour cream!!!

Sushi still skeaves me out! even california rolls, its one of those foods where u need like 100 to feel satiated!

I randomly started eating coolwhip and tried cottage cheese too...I hated cottage cheese before...but it is not nearly so bad now:)

ICECREAM-when i 1st read that i thought u said u ate them together, i was like, GROSS!!!

i had a fruit cobbler type thing at a restaurant at lunch today, dont think i EVER had it-it was great!!

That's too gross even for me;).  I like the weirder flavors like cinnamon bun and green tea yogurt too...not many of my family likes those; oh well, more for me!

what brand? never saw that.

i buy my supermarket brand yogurt bc theyre the only ones that have 8oz yogurts these days, anything else is way too small!

Yoplait...sometimes Edys...the green tea ones are from an Asian supermarket, so...

edys makes yogurt??

i guess ill never see the asian ones, i just stick w fage 2% and the 8ounce yogurts my supermarket (thank goodness!!) still sells!

Yeah, Edys does...I noticed it while looking at the website...the Asian one's came from one of my friends...it was pretty good so I started eating them; I also recently discovered I like artichokes (after all those years of picking on my Mom *sigh)

dont think i ever had an artichoke!

Try one, they are pretty good with olive oil and vinegar.  The one thing that I cannot be converted to are nuts though...a lot of people seem to change their minds to liking them...how?

im addicted, i eat pounds and pounds of trail mix (includes almonds+peanuts) each week.

really, tubs of it.

i also buy chocolate and brown cinimmon sugar almonds

RICCOTA CHEESE-had it tonight in a casserole-so creamy good!

Huh, that doesn't sound so bad when you cover it in chocolate...I had a cookies n' cream protein bar today that actually tasted like it...some are so horrible.
