ok, i am going to this restaurant with like no veg options except nachos and fried potato stuff so i have these two choices
Vegetarian Burrito - mixed vegetables, refried beans, mexican rice, and jalapenos
or onion soup with cheese and a greek salad.
everything is that awful pub food i know we should avoid but my friends chose it, how many cals you think i am looking at? thanks

Im heading off to a Mexican restaurant for lunch and called to learn theyve only one healthy fare and only because of a low carb tortilla.
Im at a loss for the calories but I would suggest going with the one you prefer taste wise. They both sound like a toss up but Im assuming the burrito comes in heaviest (depending on the amount of cheese with the soup).

Most Mexican restaurants' refried beans are made with lard--you should ask for black beans instead. Also, Mexican rice is sometimes made with beef broth. Most onion soups come from a beef broth base also--you may want to call ahead! I like to get vegetable fajitas with black beans on the side. It may not be on the menu, but they can still make it.
Where's the broccoli ? >:]
