Why did you choose your Nicname?

Hi everyone

Have been reading a lot of peoples stories about weight loss and the reasons why they started and I think that everyone here is so very special. I get a giggle at times reading the nicknames they chose and wonder how on earth they got their nic?

Mine is really boring = Suzzi because thats my name and 1961= the year of my birth.

What is your reason......I bet there are a lot of funny people and I just cant wait to hear your reason?

mine is just one my hubby called me one day for doing something. Neither one of us can remember but it has always stuck with me!

honestly It was probably something stupid! It was originally slapasorous (like a dinasour???) It was when we were dating so ya gotta have a cute nickname! my daughter just asked me who I was typing to- I told her someone in Australia and she wants to know (Shes 4) if you ever see kangaroos. :)

Oh Slappy tell her. G'Day from Sue, Ian, Adam and Jason and from Jessie our dog. Tell her no the kangaroos are not wild in the streets, but we go to the zoo (Steve Irwins Australia Zoo) he has many kangaroos there. Tell her that Ian's sister works for Steve Irwin works with the elephants at times. I must send you a pic of STeve Irwin for your daughter. lol Sue

mine is very unimaginative, just my initials and part of my last name. I picked it because it's easy to remember, very important when you are going batty. Sometimes I think I should try and get a new sign on. I have a good one in mind. How would you go about doing that anyway?

I think you can just go back and edit your profile, but I'm not sure. I was going to change mine to eeyore when my friend winnietherpooh signed on, but I haven't done it yet! elin is just the second half of my first name!

and it stands for
B~ Big {my size}
M~ Momma {I was the group momma}
Q~ Queen {no need for explaination}
B~ Bi!@# {Because I was rough on my group}
33 ~ My current age~

anywho..over the years it just kinda stuck.. but I did change the last Initial to stand for Beautifully Blessed {instead of Bit@#}

I also wanted to say that since I have been on this site.. I have lost a total of 20lbs & 10 inches off my body~ and I feel great!!!

With mine, a friend rearranged "Pink Panther" to fit me. My first name is Pamm and I tend to wear pink a lot because it goes well with my complexion. It's stuck around for a few years now 'cause I kinda like it :-D

Chief as that is the symbol of the University of Illinois, where I went to school. "Chief Illiniwek". Always wanted to be him when I was little.

hi, I Love reading how everyone picked there names. I picked mine after a german cartoon caracter that drove his "Dad" crazy with all the questions he came up with. Just like him I tend to bugg people with all my questions.

This is the name I've used ever since I first started doing anything at all on the internet. I'm sure you can figure it's meaning just by reading it, lol. ... I love to read, and I'm a girl.
But ... sadly, being smart, loving to read ... I took it overboard. I've been reading just to read since I was about 7 or 8 I guess. I'd grab a book and go read. When it was recess during school, I'd grab a book and go sit on the swings. This .... is how I gained my weight. Instead of running around n playing like the other kids, I'd go off by myself and read. It is a name oddly appropriate for this site, I guess.
Speaking of reading ... I got Fast Food Nation from the library today (now I just have to find some time to read it). I also watched Super Size Me last weekend. I thought maybe these would help me cut down on fast food. I don't eat a lot of it, but I was looking up the calorie count for some of the foods I eat, and I'd really like to eat less of it than I already do.

I picked mine because I love pink and sugar is my downfall thats what got me so tubby!!

We are one of the lucky couples and one of the first who did the whole internet thing. Of course, long before we even decided to start dating - long distance - we just devoloped an amazing friendship. Maybe that's why it worked...

I do have a nick name though, it was given to me after I got married. My husband, lemme give you the stats
Mr. Lumpkin=6'5", 320lbs
He has had the name LUMPY for as long as I can remember, well we got married and me being only 5'3" we have a substantial height difference, thusly my new nickname was Lil' Lump
I tell everyone that I married him because he was the only man that made me look small!!! hahahaha.... just kidding. He is the love of my life! I am so blessed to have him!!
