I was on the way home from work yesterday when this came up on the radio!  It made me chuckle!  So ladies...what do you prefer?  What gets you more in the mood?  Choreplay....or foreplay??  For me a clean house that comes from team work does indeed resolve itself in the bedroom!  Wink  Foreplay after I have slaved all day while a certain someone sits at a computer or watches TV...is just more annoying at first!

foreplay>>>>>>choreplay

Ooh, Next thing you know were in the bathroom brushing our teeth.
That's all part of it. That's foreplay.
Then you go sort out the recycling, that's not part of it but it's still
very important.

It's business time.

I know what you mean - aw yeah, that's it.

Oh Rosie O'Donnell.

Heh. I so dug that movie. :)

I once saw a "behind the scenes" about it. Apparently Rosie lost weight for her role, and months after shooting they called her back for a scantily clad scene. And of course she had put the weight back on, and there was no way to hide it. She had a good sense of humor about it.

Feeling calm and successful is indeed what I need to feel interested.  And that is hard to come up with if I feel "used" because I am madly scrambling to get things in better order and he is playing computer games.

And, like most women, I like the illusion of being taken care of, even if I am capable of it myself.  So, if he goes and mows part of the lawn instead of playing, yeah - I'm more open.  I feel happier.  I feel like more of a team, closer to him, supported rather than abused.

Of course, the biggest determining factor is how quickly we can get the kids asleep and whether I can hold my eyes open  by that time...not that eyes open is a requirement, but it is nice to be able to participate.  Wink

for us work was work and fun was fun - no correlation between the two. :)

I waaaaay prefer choreplay. Honestly, picking up my husband's dirty socks from the living room floor is just about the least sexy thing I can think of. Unless it is scraping two-day-old bacon grease out of a pan he used and never cleaned. Doing housework just makes me feel resentful because I often feel like I am doing a disproportionate share. And yes, that resentment does keep me from being too interested in sex. What is less sexy than a man who dicks around on his computer or watches TV while I am cleaning the house?

Plus, I think foreplay is overrated. Just grab me and get down to business. Unless I'm still cranky from scraping your hair out of the bathroom sink, there's a pretty good chance I'm in the mood.

 ya, I loved that too

I have to add that sometimes closed eyes are better cause then you can't see the cobwebs. I hate when that happens - totally kills the mood.

"Ooh, makin` love.
Makin` love for two.
Makin` love for two minutes.
When it`s with me you only need two minutes, girl.`Cause I`m so intense."

Yeah, I could go for a hot chore-boy right around now...who says it's a "vs" thing? Wink

*is secretly thrilled anytime anyone thinks she's funny*

Yes, the dirty ceiling fan spinning lazily around makes me think of everything I didn't get done...

And yes, I'm all for quickies.  Sometimes foreplay is - well, boring, even when everything is done right.  Besides, who wants to spend an hour on prelude when 5 minutes does it all?

Time management, people!
