***Christian Calorie Counters (CCC) Continues***

Greetings to all. This thread is being started to continue, not to abandon, the old thread, Christian Calorie Counters. Thank you Danceswithforks for that wonderful thread.

This thread is for the purpose of lifting up our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and in doing so, encouraging and motivating one another on their weight Loss and weight maintenance journey, and encouraging each other in life itself.

So please come and share your needs, share your successes, encourage one another, and help us motivate each other, all in the love of the Lord.

There is an ongoing challenge if you would like to participate. It starts on the first of every month and ends at the first of the next month. On the first of the month, you come to this thread and post your weight and your 3 core measurements (chest, waist, hips). Then throughout the month you collect points for different categories of the challenge. Each week you post your points for that week. The points are then updated on the thread:
Christian Calorie Counters Challenge Roster & Updates. You go to that thread just to view the list, but stay on this thread for the purpose of posting stats and points, and above all - fellowship with each other. You do NOT have to take part in the challenge in order to be a part of this group.

Hello Pamarooni!  I am glad Forks is back too!  I need to get back at my excercising too.   I got a new friend notification from CC and low and behold it was Forks!!!  So thought I'd stop in a say Hey!!!  So HEY!!  LOL!  Pray for me to get back at it and get back to being myself again. 

Just thought I'd pop in and say hello! How is everyone? Nothing's changed here! Pam, have you been to the Mayo Clinic yet? Did I miss it! Gina, How are you doing? I am sorry that I haven't been here in a while! I can't be online at work so it makes it hard to keep up! Angela, we can all pray for each other for the stick-to-it ness!

This morning I turn to you, my CCC friends, to request prayers for my dear friend Barb. She has been diagnosed with Colon cancer and is having surgery this afternoon.

It has taken months for the doctors to find the cause of her illusive symptoms, and had she had the recommended colonoscopy months ago, she might have been diagnosed sooner. Please, follow your doctor's advice if he suggests you do this unpleasant but simple test!

Lord, we lift up Barb to you today and place her in your hands and ask that you guide the doctors today as they do surgery, and enable them to remove all signs of the cancer. If any cancer has already spread to other areas of her body, I also ask that you remove it with your divine touch. Lord please be with her friends and family today and give them all peace, and also please give a special infilling of peace to Barb today. I ask all of these things in the name of Jesus! Amen!

Barb's surgery went well, and now we await the pathology reports. Thanks for your prayers and please keep her on the prayer list.

Hello Friends,

Just an update on my friend Barb. She's recovering nicely, and though she'll likely have to go through some chemo, her spirits are good. She tells me she felt the power of prayer through the whole time, and thanks all who offered her need to Christ.

I visited my friend Barb last evening, and I somehow feel her spirit healing me today! What a miracle true belief is!

Sad day today after hearing about Steven Curtis Chapman's 5 year old daughter getting hit in their driveway and dieing yesterday. I have been very down all day because if anyone has seen him in concert you know how much he loves his kids. Maria was adopted from China and there are two other daughters they have from China. Pray for their family in this difficult time.

I hadn't heard about that. Thanks for sharing. That is sad. I'm sorry to hear about that.
