Christian Calorie Counters...The word Christian covers many faiths.  Baptist, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal,  Catholics, Presbyterians and right on down the line....All FAITHS ARE WELCOME HERE. 

However, there is a condition-"no arguing" "with the foundation of this thread".  If you do not believe how this
thread believes you are encouraged to start your own thread with the way you see it.  There is a wide range of what Christians Believe in. That's why this thread is being started.  Just like the agnostics have their own thread and others tried to go in there & then they were kicked out for disrupting.  The same principle will apply to this thread.  If anyone disrupts in this thread they will be asked to leave either by me or a monitor.  (it's sad you gotta say these things but if you don't trouble makers come)!
However, if someone joins in this thread and really feels as a Christian they need to branch off with their beliefs they can do so and we can do it in Love. 
We all know that there is a range of what Christians believe in.  That's why there are so many denominations.  So for example if you're a good baptist and only believe in getting saved but you don't belief in divine healing, that's fine.  You can start your own thread with those thoughts.  This thread though is going to talk about divine healing.  That's just one example.  This thread will be a safety net that allows me or anyone else to talk about these truths without being told to "drop it".  These principles are just to important to  drop.  And I'm going to have to add that since I'm the starter of this thread I determine what is allowed.  So, I'll take it as it comes.

Ephesians 3:14-19

I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power, through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Humorpam....that's such an amazing part of the bible.  I HAVE to go re-read that at least 3 more times.  That's so full!  OH boy I like that part about that we MAY HAVE POWER together w/saints....and to be filled with God's Fullness.  I mean who could even take that? :)))
 
 this reminds me of a true story:  I was on my way to church.  Looking out the window along the high way.  I was in my own world.  Family in the car.  I said to the Lord.....show me how much you love me.....what I felt next was too much for me to handle.....I said LORD...OK STOP!
I had tears in my eyes it was so amazing to feel that Love and it was so much my flesh couldn't take it. 
  You know spiritual moments NEVER grow old.  You can always remember them like it was yesterday.  This was about 8 years ago.

EVERYONE.....I'd like to introduce to you MABEAR.

 I met MABEAR here at CC.  I introduced her to Christ.  I think she was already familar with Him.  So, Over Fathers Day this year she asked the Lord to come into her life.  She said the Sinners prayer that I sent her via email. I'm so glad we can use the internet to GOD's GLORY.    I'm so excited for MABEAR'S new journey with Christ her Savior. 

She wants to come and dine with us here in our FATHER'S HOUSE that we've prepared for Him.

Let us please give her a proper Welcome~

busy or just think you'll miss to many Saints arriving it's ok
to pass on this job.  However, you were the next precious child
of God to enter so I thought I'd ask you!  No pressure :)
Just let me know.  Perhaps there will be another job you'd
rather have.  I plan to keep people busy. 

I'm so happy you here and I wonder where you are....I'll go looking

It's a cute movie about music and instruments which I'm
curious about being a new Harp student myself.

I absolutely love that movie. You need to go sit down with the others and watch it. You'll miss too much if you stay here.

I'm sitting in the lodge in the king sized bed.  He's over on the couch.
Daughter is on the easy bed we got from Front Gate....that's a fun item.  It blows up into a bed.   We're all so cozy.  It's a darling movie and your right I'll be back later after I put the handicap man to bed at 10:20 tonight.

Thank you for your services.  You may be as creative as you wish w/that.  there are many kinds of flowers our Lord created. 
I just love birds of paradise flowers.  So cool.  But all flowers are welcomed. 

I have a neat TRUE story to tell:
  My dear girl friend back home who is a top notch nurse
     But is home now taking care of 3 children.....
       &nb sp; she had an uncle who at age 53 got Saved.
       &nb sp;    His prayer was that he lived 53 years w/out God.
       &nb sp;        He asked for another 53 years to serve God.
       &nb sp;            He died at age 106

That gives me the chills!  Good chills!  I so believe in prayer!

Humor....I wanted to thank you for your motivation for 'my' diet.  I had a good day b/c of your inspiration to me concerning food.  I did not have bread/pasta/rice/potato today.  I had your message playing in the back of my mind and It worked "today".  I guess b/c when I didn't see the scale moving I thought you had a point.   When you don't fill up on those foods it makes you go looking around for more healthier items.  I've been eating a lot more whole foods.  You know like peaches,bananas, raw veg salads,  I'm a little hungry and it's 11:14 i think I need a nibble of something.

Dances, Pam, I was really glad to see this forum! So count me in, we all need fellowship and encouragement. So, I guess I'll give you my story. I'm 35, SAHM, married 10 yrs this August to my BFF, with 4 kiddos(8,6,3,18mos). I'd always try to convince myself that I was content with my size and weight. I figured I looked pretty good to have 4 kids. Then I asked the Lord if I was fooling myself. YES! I Told Him I could not do this myself and asked Him to help me. I was 189lbs. I had to give it to Him. I have had no control when it came to sweets or fries or hamburgers. 7/2/07 I joined CC @ 187lbs. I'm now 180 lbs and hoping to join the 170's group soon. So, be encouraged, we can do all things through Christ which strenghthens us. <><
