Christian Calorie Counters...The word Christian covers many faiths.  Baptist, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal,  Catholics, Presbyterians and right on down the line....All FAITHS ARE WELCOME HERE. 

However, there is a condition-"no arguing" "with the foundation of this thread".  If you do not believe how this
thread believes you are encouraged to start your own thread with the way you see it.  There is a wide range of what Christians Believe in. That's why this thread is being started.  Just like the agnostics have their own thread and others tried to go in there & then they were kicked out for disrupting.  The same principle will apply to this thread.  If anyone disrupts in this thread they will be asked to leave either by me or a monitor.  (it's sad you gotta say these things but if you don't trouble makers come)!
However, if someone joins in this thread and really feels as a Christian they need to branch off with their beliefs they can do so and we can do it in Love. 
We all know that there is a range of what Christians believe in.  That's why there are so many denominations.  So for example if you're a good baptist and only believe in getting saved but you don't belief in divine healing, that's fine.  You can start your own thread with those thoughts.  This thread though is going to talk about divine healing.  That's just one example.  This thread will be a safety net that allows me or anyone else to talk about these truths without being told to "drop it".  These principles are just to important to  drop.  And I'm going to have to add that since I'm the starter of this thread I determine what is allowed.  So, I'll take it as it comes.

Your Height is the same as me and I know that's a nice weight!  Yes your right size 12/14   I was at that weight oh 2 years ago.  It's probably the most steady weight of my life.  Your 180's is where I hung out for many years.  (trying I might add).  And wow so many children.  Mabear has many children at least 5 I think.  And so Does HumorPam she has like 3 I think.  I'm the one with one.

Let me say your scripture is one of my favorites.  We can do ALLLL
things through Christ which strengthens us!  I love it thanks for sharing.

Well it's just after Midnight.  Our Grand-Opening today was so much fun.  I just love that new carpet smell. 

I pray that our lives will be changed.  That we can honestly say we are sold out to Christ 100% and give him all the areas of our heart.
THat can sometimes take a while so don't fret if your not there yet.

Thank you Lord, for this beautiful day that you have given us. I have no idea what the weather is like today, but whatever it is, this is a beautiful day, and I thank you for it. You are so worthy of our praise!

Let me say this, you all can call me whatever you feel like calling me at the time. It doesn't always have to be one thing or another, just call me whatever is in your heart at the time. OK?

Where He Is

God is dwelling in us!  Therefore, if God is dwelling in us, then that is where God is going to speak to us--where He is---in our hearts, or our spirits.  God communicates with us through our spirits.  Our spirits pick things up from the Holy Spirit and then pass them on to our mind by an inward intuition, or inward witness.

Confession:  Make your confession from John 14:23

23Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.

Thought I'd talk about Food and my desert trick. 

I've had a busier morning than normal so my breakfast was banana as I was working. 

Yesterday, I did not have any bread, pasta, potato, or rice.  As a result I was down one pound this morning.  Lunch time Hit and I wanted what the family Had.  A turkey sandwich.  Made mine with
spelt bread/romaine lettuce/mayo and mustard.  No chips for me.
It was so good.  I will have a salad for dinner.  I figure if I'm gonna have bread maybe do it every other day?  It's hard to not have it at all.  But if your not loosing weight then it is something to consider.
I learned this from HUMORPAM. 

Last night I was hungry.  A new thing I have is baby food.  They are little and cute and fun.  Last night was apples and mango I believe.
It was so good and 50 calories.  Just something convienent.  I buy the organic. 

Then my sweet tooth trick is this:  I went to the health food store and in the toothpaste isle (I buy healthy toothpaste b/c it does not say if swallowed call the poison control LOL) There is 3 flavors
of this Gum called Fresh Gum.  It's made with 100% xylitol which is a sugar that is actually good for you and safe for a diabetic.
My husband uses it in his coffee.  It taste the same as sugar but it actually healthy.  I like another sugar that is safe for diabetics called Agave nectar and it's like a honey and I put it on oatmeal.
But about this gum:  it comes in 3 flavors I have all 3 and after lunch I find I enjoy a piece.  It has Vit. B in it to boot. It's expensive but It lasts for a long long time.  I mean a long time.  It's vegan and gluten free and a fun way to clean your teeth if your not in the mood to brush after a meal.   I think the bubble gum flavor lasts the longest.  next best would be the cinn. and then the Mint is good but seems to last even shorter.  But it's healthy and a fun
thing to have on hand.  I believe it's $7 a bottle.  But if I think about it normal gum might be a buck or so and this is a FULL bottle so maybe it's not expensive after all! 

the agave nectar looks like honey but does not taste like honey
it taste like the BEST sugar on the planet.  It's about the neatest thing I've recently learned about in the health world.  A nice girl
who was hypoglycemic told me about it while standing in a health
food store.  I would have NEVER bought it on my own.  I think it's like $7 bottle.  It's a sqeezy type bottle.  I've seen it in a light color and a dark color.  I think both are good I didn't notice a differance. 
It's a neat product.  A sugar that is safe and good for you!  God is neat!

I never told much about myself yet on this thread so hear goes:

I'm 39 years old.  (enjoying that while I can turn 40 this year).
Married 20 years (21 this fall).
Married an older man :))) who treats me like a QUEEN! (that doesn't mean I didn't have to train him girls!  My mom says
I can train any man, child or animal :) God rest her soul!
My mother just past away this year.  Only 59 beautiful woman
no gray hair and married to my dad 41 years.  She taught
ettiquette and was just like martha stewart.  I'm very blessed
to call her mom. 
Have one child on purpose who is 19 (turns 20 this year).
she is like living with Snow White!  All my hard work paid off.
she loves birds, flowers and trees and plants.  Very good with all of these things.  She is praying for the right man to come into her life now.  I took being a mother VERY serious. 
Been a stay-at-home mom for 20 years.
Husband flys private jet for a living.  He is a jack of all trades though.  I've been on Many neat trips. 
I met him at church.  As a 12 year old girl (no one told me to do this) I prayed for the right man to come into my life met him at age 14 and I knew he was it but still gave him a hard time :)))))  He says that's why we are married today-blah LOL
So I hope that paints a good picture of our family.  I have one child on purpose. 

3 years ago I prayed for our finances.  I found a scripture in the bible that read:  If you are WILLING & OBEDIENT you will eat the good of the land.  ( I can hear you all out there saying: WHERE IS ill show you eveTHAT SCRIPTURE?!) I stood on Isaiah 1:19 Isaiah 1:19If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land
However I wn more scriptures to back it up!

As I looked at that closer....I saw you had to be willing to be obedient.  Sometimes we just obey b/c we know we should.
but this scripture points out you gotta be willing.  I made that
"adjustment" in my heart.  (Pam take a picture) LOL

I STOOD on this scripture and a like a month later or pretty soon after the phone rang with a Job for our family.  It would be 2more years before we moved to do this job.  Now our income has doubled.  That's the Lord!  See how exciting serving God is!

You know what?  All my groceries are FREE to me!  Is that too funny!  We get FREE room and board.  I did pray about Groceries
and now they are free and my income doubled.

This is a true Testimony!

The good news is that our Father will grant this promise to ANY of his kids not just little ole me! 

So, I enjoy good healthy Food now!  I don't have to be upset at the price of healthy food.

And they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness.

Ezra 9:12
Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever

Deuteronomy 8:10
When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

*I like Deutieronomy 8:10 b/c we see here he is saying He hath Given it to us.  But how do you get it?  B/c it won't fall down on you like ripe cherries.  No....You gotta see it in the word youself....get excited about it.......believe you can have it......that's faith......and you will get it.....but if you doubt......or worry.......or fret......you won't get it.  You'll sink like Peter. 

Here's another good one:
Genesis 45:18
And take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land

OK KIDS....there you have it.  Get busy on this one.  I want to hear testimonies!  Amen!  Our God is a GOOD GOD.  He sent us his words it's GOOD NEWS!  Isn't it! 

So if you want to be a DOER of the WORD and not just a hearer only get busy standing FIRM on these promises. 


I'm here but I'm going out to the Italian Villa to read my book I'm still reading called Detox or Die. 

Feel free to join me out in the Italian Villa.  There are many potted plants and flowers.  I mean one of them is HUGE like 6ft tall.   The wall is serpentine (which means it's curved~)with bricks.  The floor is also brick.  There is a table out there w/umbrella in Green.  Even a swing style chair that sits two at a time.  The table is pretty big plenty room out there but it you want to go on out to the pool or beach than keep going....I'll find ya. 

 

I decided to exercise for 30 minutes and then go out to the Italian Villa. 

I had this thought to pass on about the "eating the good of the land challenge"


If this is something you want to do?!
Get the scripture or scriptures of your choice to stand on.
Believe God said what he meant and he meant what he said. 
We know he's not a liar. So, it's true.
And I'm living proof it works.
Make sure your WILLING to obey.

I wanted to say check up on yourself.  Do you have sin in your life?
If so, confess it, and stop it.  The Lord is QUICK to forgive.  He wants us to be Quick to forgive to.  Infact, he said to forgive 7x70 in one day.  Someone do the math on that for me.

These things won't work if you have sin in your life.  They won't work if you think they won't work.  And this one says you have to be willing to obey.  Not just obey.   Just think about yourself and see what you need to fix and get right with the Lord.  Then proceed to claim this promise for yourself. 

As I said I'm looking forward in hearing about the testimonies.

I told you it was like a month or so before I got word my prayer had been answered.  Then it was 2 more years before it came to pass.  I had to stand my ground for a good 2 years people!
I'm sure many people would give up?!  I did not give up and it came to pass. 

You gotta stick on it like stink on poop.  (sorry if those words stink but I'm trying to make a point).  anyone got something better say it so I can use it.
