Christian Calorie Counters...The word Christian covers many faiths.  Baptist, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal,  Catholics, Presbyterians and right on down the line....All FAITHS ARE WELCOME HERE. 

However, there is a condition-"no arguing" "with the foundation of this thread".  If you do not believe how this
thread believes you are encouraged to start your own thread with the way you see it.  There is a wide range of what Christians Believe in. That's why this thread is being started.  Just like the agnostics have their own thread and others tried to go in there & then they were kicked out for disrupting.  The same principle will apply to this thread.  If anyone disrupts in this thread they will be asked to leave either by me or a monitor.  (it's sad you gotta say these things but if you don't trouble makers come)!
However, if someone joins in this thread and really feels as a Christian they need to branch off with their beliefs they can do so and we can do it in Love. 
We all know that there is a range of what Christians believe in.  That's why there are so many denominations.  So for example if you're a good baptist and only believe in getting saved but you don't belief in divine healing, that's fine.  You can start your own thread with those thoughts.  This thread though is going to talk about divine healing.  That's just one example.  This thread will be a safety net that allows me or anyone else to talk about these truths without being told to "drop it".  These principles are just to important to  drop.  And I'm going to have to add that since I'm the starter of this thread I determine what is allowed.  So, I'll take it as it comes.

I wanted to give you a Gospill to ponder as those pain killers Kick in I hope they work good.....and you get that good air going!

These are things we've talked about before but bare repeating. I wanted to go over a few of them tonight.  It's good to keep this in front of you especially if your new to knowing about it.  I'm talking about divine healing and how to get it. 

 fight....fight the Good fight....of faith.

So in the Face of symptoms just say what you have as a child of God.  (devil does not want you to do this but go ahead)

First off You can claim proverbs 4:20-22 now b/c you have
been keeping the word in the midst of your ?heart ?  Remember,
it won't fall down on you like ripe cherries.  You gotta stand on
that promise and say it's mine.

That's the good fight of faith i'm talking about.

 You've been obeying that promise so you can have it.  Be confident....it's yours for the asking.  Health to ALL
your flesh.  Have you been doing this?  You seem better to me.
However I realize your having a moment right now.

I'm curious to know how pro-active you've been with these
principles?

 I too have been reminding the Lord how I've claimed that promise.  When something pops up I do not get discouraged
i just continue fighting the fight of faith.  This is just one scripture.
 I've made it my motto in life now.  After the ordeal I thought
gee sick is no fun.  I had better find me a promise to stand on
for my health.  So i found proverbs 4:20-22 and I'm like a scientist
over here putting it to work.  I'm doing it too. 

How about 1peter 2:24  ......By His wounds you have been healed.
YOu can tell the Lord hey I see that.  I accept that.  it's mine.
right in the face of symptoms. 

 I know you know that I'm
not agaist medical help.  No way....get some when you need it.

You know I"m not against drugs sometimes they are vital.

However, in time I'd like somoene to eventually be made whole.
these things can sometimes take time.  Sometimes it's only a few days and sometimes it's instant but your believing has to be instant.  If that makes sense. 

Anotherwords  you have to do your
part.  Beleiving it's yours the moment you ask.  B/c god 's timing
is NOW.  Remember faith does not walk by sight or by feelings.

Faith says According to the word of God I got it now. 
This is so hard for people to grasp for some reason.

I think i told you about the story of the woman who had the worst
cancer on her face Looked like an egg plant.  She believed the Lord healed her the moment she asked at 9:20pm on July 6th....and
for ten days while she was in bed going to sleep or if she woke up
in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning she would
say thank you lord for healing me of cancer on July 6th at 9:20pm.
She just kept at it.  On the 10th day while mopping the floor the
cancer fell off onto the floor.  She put it in a bottle of alchole and took it to church to testify.  My point I want to show you is how
she got the job done.  In the face of symptoms she SAID.....and made her profession of faith.  She fought the fight of faith with what she said.

If you look at the bible.  The woman with the issue of blood who spent all her money and grew worse.  for she SAID
if I may but touch the hem of his garmet I will be made whole.
She got results.  Jesus said to her
Daughter it was YOUR faith that made you whole.  Notice her faith was action.  It takes action to speak out. 

Hey lets not forget this scripture:  Mark 11:22-25
this is what Brother Hagin used to be healed of 3 incurable
diseases one alone could be fatal and he had 3 incurable
diseases as a teenager.  He found this scripture and
trusted God that he meant what he said and said what
he meant and stood on this promise and Got it!
He went on to live and have the most amazing ministry.
So, look at what he stood on for his healing below:

22And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly].
3Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
24For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
25And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and [a]let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.

Isn't it interesting he mentions forgiving people in vs. 25
You can't get healed if you have ought against your brother.
Thats a huge reason why i don't have ill will feelings towards
others.  I don't let it touch me.  I won't go there.  it's
to important to obey God. 
   



For whatever reason our Father wants us to be like him.
Faith children.  to speak things into existance.
He spoke the world into existance.

Bible says it's impossible to please the Lord w/out faith. UM

I feel these principles can be life and death. 

I know if My mother would have
grasped these truths she would have not died premature.

I talked to my mom at length about this but she kept saying
back to me God will heal me in his timing.  I would say
MOM NO NO NO  you can't say that.  I said his timing is NOW.
It's so important to SEE this. 
she kept saying Jesus will heal me.
She put it off like he will do it.....
He's already done it. 
She the differance.
It makes ALL the differance in getting what you want. 
It's NOW or never. 


I guess you can say this is the First time I've spoken on this
thread about Divine Healing.  I'm glad to have had the oportunity.
We will touch on this more.  That's why I started this thread
to be able to talk about this important fact.   I just can't "drop"
it b/c to me it's a matter of life and death. 


Just like you believe for your salvation and the bible says you have to cont. working out your salvation.....
Healing was also provided through faith but we have to work that out by fighting the good fight of faith. 

how?  YOu find scripture.  You obey it.  Don't doubt.  Don't let fear try to come.  YOu have to pass up marvelous oportunities but with practice you get better at it. 

I beleive we have to use the word like Jesus did.  He would
say IT IS WRITTEN....he'd go quoting scriptures too.

Peter who walked on the water soon as it looked bad he feared
and he doubted.  What happened to him?  He began to sink. Jesus pulled him to safety and what did he say to him? Why did you doubt?!!!  Jesus wanted him to have faith even in the face of bad things.  um!

I want that promise!  I have that promise!  NOw!  I also do what it tells me to do.  I gotta keep the word in my ?heart ?

Keep Fighting the Fight of Faith for this promise to come to pass in your life.  I'm so looking forward to hearing you testify.

Also:  Remember the story about the Missionary who was doing God's work ya know.....she got small pocks......very sick......hurting
God Gave her a vision of an old fashioned Scale.   On one side it
said PRAYERS and it was full and on the other side it was PRAISE and there was not much praise.  The Lord told her when the Praise equals the Prayers you'll be healed.  So, for 3 days she praised the Lord night and day and on the 3rd day completley Whole.

I think it was in 2chronicals 20 where the bible mentions prayer
but also praising and when the praises were put out they got the results!  So, this is biblical to do this.  Not just a vision some lady had.  But she did have it and it's nice for us to know that.

Long I know.  But hey I'm aloud to lecture over here :))))

Good morning everyone. Thanks for your prayers D, I'm better today so far.

Just thought I would share this tidbit about myself. I don't know that it makes me sound too good, but anyway here goes:
I am somewhat familiar with the Bible. I have definitely NOT read the entire Bible through from start to finish, but I have read the New testament through I think, years ago. By coming here and talking  to Dances and all you other Christian friends on here, and my friend Angie, you've all made such an impact on me that I have the desire to read the Word. Not just passages, but to read it all. I am taking what was either Tracker's or Chubbs' advice (sorry, I don't remember who) and starting to read beginning with John. Although I've read it all before, it's like it's taking on a new life, it's amazing. I feel like it's more alive than it ever felt before, or at least for a long long time. So I wanted to tell you that YOU DO HAVE AN IMPACT ON OTHER PEOPLE! God had given me a love and compassion for other people, which I hope anyone can feel, but He has also now given me a love for His Word and a desire to read it. Thank you Lord! So He has shown me not to just read it, whipping through it like one of my mystery books, but to savor each word, and visualize it as though it were happening right in front of me. I've never done that before! Believe me, it makes all the difference in the world. I LOVE IT!

I can sooooo relate to exactly what your saying.  It blesses me that you said this to no means!  (l'm licking salad dressing off my lap top)

I'm just now getting in here now at 12:38 in the afternoon b/c my morning was filled with a family staff meeting.  We are changing our schedule around.  We are going to have a Fun night.  Knowledge night, Bible study night, prayer on knees night.  How exciting. 
We still need to finalize it and what days.  I have coffee and conversation every morning from 9:30-11am then I typically get on here at 11am if I can.  But today i made everyone's lunch and now
finishing that up.  Infact, i gotta go put the handicap man back into his office and will be gone for like 5 minutes but coming back to post
the daily flip calendar.

I don't know when but I'd like to announce we will have a VERY
SPECIAL EVANGALIST coming our way SOON!  We will have a
special event take place in honor of this special person.

The #1 way the Holy Spirit guides us in through the inward witness.  The #2 way is through the inward voice.  The inward man has a voice just as the outward man has a voice.  We call the voice of the inward man "conscience."  Sometimes it is also called intuition, inner guidance, inward witness, or "the still, small voice."

confession:  I listen to the voice of my spirit. And I obey it!

Hey, D, what translation do you use? Others might like it, but I find it distracting and harder to read with all the additional words and phrases stuck in there. Is it the amplified version?
