So I am in several Groups looking to loose weight and in one particular one we are doing a christmas challenge to loose 30lbs by december 24 or there abouts. If anyone is interested let me know, we will weigh in every thursday...

Okay, well I guess this week wasn't so great - it was TTOM for me and a bit more stressful than usual - and I didn't lose at all. But I'm ready to fight back this week.

Hi Ladies...I'm new to these groups, but have been tracking my weight on calorie count for over a year now.  I started out at 256 July 1, 2008 and am now in a slump at 205 - 207 depending on the day.   i dont have a specific number as my goal weight, I only know that I am not there yet.  I would like to put it into high gear for the holidays, as I am going on vacation in February.  Thanks for your support and WAY TO GO, you all inspire me!!  -Amy

I'm a little frustrated cos the whole of last week I've been at about the same wt- tho I dropped 4.5 the previous wk. I've only been on CC for 10 days now, but this week I've eaten way healthier than b4 and been working out pretty hard. I've been doing sm pretty heavy weight training ( I think)- like dead-lifting about 35 lbs and stuff- 30 mins of that 3x last week and about 30 min of cardio and core 5x.

The only good news is my waist and abs seem to hv dropped another 1/2" (total of 1.5") over 10 days... or am I just losing the bloat or wat.....?

It was my birthday week so I'm pretty excited that I lost anything at all.  I had a dinner out the night before my birthday where I had a soup (laden with cream, but it was a soup), a grilled calamari appetizer, and no desert.  For my birthday my husband made me a wonderful dinner, no desert, and so I ate very little for the whole day until the dinner. 

I've discovered the Full Bar, and other bars that keep me from making bad food choices.  This next week I'm going to up the calorie burn by walking.  I didn't do any exercise this week because my schedule was very hectic and I have bad blisters on the back of my feet.  Hopefully, I'll be one pound down by next week.  Yeah!  Off to a good start.

I'm going to give it a shot!

Pretty happy with my weight loss of 4lbs.  Between birthday celebrations and being ill, I was totally expecting to hang right at 228.  When I'm sick I don't eat which always backfires.  I was very conscious about making sure to eat a little something whenever I could, even if nothing sounded good (thanks for the gentle nagging, dearest hubby).  Keep plugging on....

This is my first week.  I lost 2.8 pounds. I have been eating 1200-1400 calories everyday. I zigzag the calories everyday, eating 1200 calories one day, 1400 calories the next, then back to 1200 calories.  I think it keeps me interested. I made smarter food choices but mostly I hate in moderation. Thanks for the inspiration guys!

Hoping this chat system works! I have never done it before. My husband is in the Air Force and has been gone since May. We just had a baby in April. He gets to come home at Christmas for 3 weeks and then has to go back until the end of May. I would love to be back to where I was when I got preg! Here is my info~~

I really liked the support you all gave to each other! I am a "mood eater" and with everything going on, my mood tells me to EAT! So you all can be my "Mood Monster" Laughing

I am a mood eater too.. its a very hard habit to break!! you really have to concentrate on whether or not you are hungry or if you just WANT food.. i dont eat unless its time to eat.. i have put myself on a schedule and i never eat before that unless i missed a meal. I eat breakfast by 9 am lunch by 12:30 dinner early but by 5:30 the latest then a snack between 7- 8.. I do not eat other than that. Atleast on good days i dont lol.. I really try to follow this because i tend to eat when upset and really when im bored!! I"m sure you will be fine and you will get to the weight you want to be for you hubby.. even if you arent he will be thrilled to see you!! Good luck on your weight loss goal!! OH and welcome to the post :D

 

SOrry everyone, i did not weigh in this week.. its just been a crazy week i will weigh in next week.. I havent lost anything though am still about the same.. as frustrating as that is!!! I hope everyone else is doing well.. I am running again so that is a good thing.. i also ordered a dance work out video to change up my exercising during the week.. I will do the video on days i am not running.. hopefully that will kick my metabolism in the behind!!! Ok will talk to you all soon.. GOOD lUCK EVERYONE and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

That is a good idea~ to give the time frame. I will just have to get the baby on that schedule, too! Although her bedtime is pretty routine. If you try and go past...holly cow!!! Thanks for the start up tip!!

I do Turbo Jam. I just started it last week. So far I like it. And if it is nice outside, the kids and I go for a walk. But, Turbo Jam is my primary exercise. I like the punching! Stress reliever~LOL!!!
