Okay so here is ME!
I'm Jackie

I will weigh in once a week and report it on here!!
My Goals for each week!
10 miles on my bike

If you ladies dont mind id like to join. Christmas is my first real target date that i set for myself when i started eating healthy and losing weight. so here are my stats
Name: Marek aka Gimpy
Current Weight: 274.5
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose: 25. want to be at 250 by that time.
How often do you want to weight-in? I usually do three times a week but my main one that i focus on how i did for the week is Saturday Mornings.
Goal by Christmas?
To look good in a nice shirt and tie for my mom.
My goals for sept 19-25. I've been following the exercise plan that is on this site since i started being healthy. I guess its to accomplish all the workouts that i have listed there. And for the cardio that week lets try 3 sessions on the treadmill of atleast 30min.
Hi all! I'd like to join the Christmas challenge if I may.
Name: Demerara (Aoife)
Current Weight: 85.2kg (approx 187lbs)
Scale stepper or judge by clothing: scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose: By Christmas - to lose 10kg / 22lbs (tough challenge....I will re-evaluate that at the start of November)
How often do you want to weigh in? I weigh myself once a week on Monday mornings.
Goal by Christmas - to be 75kg / 165lbs and wearing my old levis again.
I have already set September goals - they are
> 45mins exercise every day (running or cycling)
record daily deficits and aim for approx 700kcal deficit daily averaged over a week
experiment with a new ingredient weekly
Good luck all
Ax
I'd like to
but I'll have to start a week on Monday as I'm going away.
Name: Josie
Current Weight: 11 stone 4 pounds (lets say 11 stone 6 pounds as I might gain a couple whilst I'm away though its not a proper holiday so hopefully no more)
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: Scale & tape
Amount of weight you wish to lose: I'd like to be under 10.10, thats what I told myself last christmas, that by new years day I wanted to be 10.10 or under. So that'd be 10 pounds, but lets say 15 so I have some leverage over christmas.
How often do you want to weight-in? Mondays
Goal by Christmas? 10 stone 5 pounds
What do you do to workout? Eat right? Tips or advice
I just concentrate on eating 3 healthy meals a day (calorie counting triggers old ED habits) except for on special occasions.
Interval running 3 times a week and weights twice a week (though my programme finishes in November so will start a new one)
also ride my 2 horses most days a week
I'd love to be there :D
Hello all! I'd like to join as well. I've been using the site for almost two months now, and could do with some "accountability"!.
Name: Jay
Current weight: 209 lbs
Scale stepper or judge by clothing: scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose: Well, there are 14 weeks 'till Christmas, so 1.5 lbs a week? Does that sound reasonable? For a total of 21 lbs?
How often do you want to weigh in? Sundays and weekly
Weekly goals: I like the 300 minutes of cardio a week - that's 5 one-hour sessions a week. I think I also need to commit to 3x week weight training. I've been focusing on cardio lately. I'd also like to see a deficit of 900 per day a week to lose the 1.5 lbs per week.
Did I forget anything?
I'll join! I've been absent from the site for a while but recently my pants have been getting tight (eek!). My birthday is a little over a week before Christmas and I'd like to bet at my best!
Name: Meghan
Current weight: 120-125 lbs
Scale stepper or judge by clothing: clothing- I currently live sans scale! I think I might need one though.
Amount of weight you wish to lose: I'd like to be between 110 and 115 (what I was before my boyfriend and I moved in together)
How often do you want to weigh in? Once I get a scale I suppose I'll decide this.. I might also take measurements?
Weekly goals: I'm trying to get back in to a good yoga routine (think 3 to 5 days a week), biking 20 miles a week (I commute by bike) and 2 to 3 days of additional weight training. I'm crazy busy as I'm in my final year of college but I really need to take care of myself in addition to school.
I also want to eat less refined sugar (which I've been okay with for the past few days) and more fruits/veggies rather than convenience foods.
I would also like in on this challenge! I was part of a challenge on this site about this time last year and it helped me so much, unfortunately after new years I really didn't stick with my healthy ways. Its about time I get back to them!
Name: Kate
Current Weight: 155
I use a scale to keep track of my weight loss. By Christmas I would like to be atleast 140, preferably under!
Weekly goal: 500 minutes of exercise, 750 cal deficit daily
I want to start eating healthier again. I need to include more fruits and vegetables in my diet and less chips and sweets. I'm also going to try to not consume so much alcohol as I have during the summer. Its hard as I'm still in college and its the thing to do on weekends! Plus I love wine...but I'm going to try my hardest!
I also really want to sign up for a half marathon to keep me dedicated to running again...I'll have to look into that.
Hello everyone. I'm looking for a little challenge. I've been doing well so far in the weight loss but a good challenge should help me stay motivated. If I can lose this weight through this holiday season, it'll prove to me that I can do it no matter what and this challenge is exactly what I need to help me through it.
Name: Cory
Current Weight: 255
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: Scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose: 20+ pounds
How often do you want to weight-in? Weekly
Goal by Christmas? I'd like to at least be 235 lbs by christmas
What do you do to workout? Eat right? Tips or advice:
I got married in July and started my weight loss challenge after I got back from my honeymoon. I've lost 17 pounds since I began and feel like I haven't had to do too much sacrificing to do so. I spend more time on the outer perimeter at the grocery store and I snack and eat meals healthy.
I work out 5 days a week. 3 I do weight training and Cardio and 2 days I'll do a sport (usually volleyball) or HIIT.
Eating right and exercise have given me success to this point but I have been feeling a little "get off the bandwagon" lately so I'm hoping the challenge will help keep me accountable.
Ok, I would love to join in this challenge. Here goes:
Name: Lindsay
CW: 196
Scale Stepper
I want to loose 25lbs by Christmas
Goal by Christmas 171 (this is 14 weeks away so I could do 2lbs a week which would be 28lbs by Christmas, but I want to factor in for any thing that might come up)
I would like to WI weekly.
I have started Power90 and I want to start c25K next week (if I can motivate myself). So my other goals would be to do Power 90 6days a week and C25K 3 days and then get in any Wii Active or Elliptical that I can). I try to stay in a certain calorie range and choose unprocessed foods as much as I can.
I'm so in... I was waiting for someone to make a challenge! Anyway I'd love to join!

Name: Kristen
Current Weight: 140
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: Scale.
Amount of weight you wish to lose: 12-15 lbs
How often do you want to weight-in? Wednesday mornings.
Goal by Christmas? 128-125. I've already lost 15 pounds, but this challenge is the perfect thing to keep me motivated for the last 15. For working out, I'm currently running about 3-4 times a week, my weekly total is 21 km. I'm training for a half marathon, which is on Thanksgiving weekend (Canadian thanksgiving). Best of luck to you all!
Hi!
Name: Chelsea
Current: 142-143
Scale
Would like to lose atleast 15 pounds by Christmas, ideally be at 130.
Weekly goal: Have atleast a 500 cal deficit everyday, 300 mins of cardio a week.
Count me in. I was hesitant because I only want to lose 10-12 pounds and I was hoping to get there soon, but it's been almost a month and I'm still the same.. :(
Name: Delaney
C/W: 151 lbs
Scale stepper.. compulsive
Hoping to lose 10-12 lbs, but if I can fit comfortably in my skinny jeans again I'll be happy too.
Weekly? Maybe bi-weekly would be less discouraging for me.
I'm following a training program for a 10k at the end of October. The training is 6 days a week. 3 days of running, 1 day of strength (it's supposed to be 2 days, one day a week is supposed to be a short run+strength but I usually can't make the time), and 2 days of cross-training.
I also just got the P90 program and I want to start this too if I have the time, but it may have to wait until November.
I'm hoping the reason my weight hasn't budged is due to muscle gain.. My belly is smaller but my thighs are still just as tubby!
Name: Liz
Current Weight: 139
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: Both. I weigh every morning, just for reference, but really judge my weight loss by how my clothes fit.
Amount of weight you wish to lose: another 15 lbs. I've lost 50+ so far, and have just a little further to go.
How often do you want to weight-in?: Weekly, wednesdays are good
Goal by Christmas?: My goal is not actually for Christmas, but for my mom's wedding, which is December 19th. We picked out this gorgeous, beautiful, perfect dress for my maid of honor dress, but it's about a size and a half too small. It was the last one the store had so... I will fit into it!
What do you do to workout?: I'm hoping to eventually work for the FBI, which has very rigorous fitness standards, so my workouts are mostly running, with some strength training, trying to get fit enough to pass their test.
Eat right?: I buy mostly healthy foods, with occaisonal treats. I live alone so I have complete control of the foods in my house, and I'm a poor college student, so I can't afford to eat out. It works out pretty well.
Can I still join? I have been at this for 9 months and have just about lost all motivation. I need a challenge!
Name- Anna
Current Weight- 140
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing- Scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose- 15 pounds, or at least in the 120's.
How often do you want to weight-in? Weekly? Yes, weekly is good! I weigh every day but I currently only take Mondays seriously, the rest are just to motivate me.
Goal by Christmas? 15 pounds and to wear a size 6/8 instead of an 8/10
What do you do to workout? Eat right? I go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week (classes, treadmill, etc), I have an elliptical at home, and try and run with my dogs when the weather is nice and my kiddo is napping! I have had trouble with healthy eating lately, but need to get back on track.
My weekly challenge is to work out 5 times a week, 30-60 minutes each time. 240 minutes total.
I hope it's ok to still join. I'm halfway to my goal and I want to keep motivated.
Name: mh
Current Weight: 170.2
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose: 15 pounds. I hope to make 155 by Christmas
How often do you want to weigh-in? I'll report on Mondays
Goal by Christmas? To fit into my old jeans
Daily exercise goals: Walk at least 10,000 steps a day and alternate a Joel Harper routine with a Pilates routine.
Eating goals - to stay within the CC Calorie Target (it works for me), get an A on my analysis and eat 3 light meals and 3 snacks a day.
Right now I'm going to stick with that, hoping I can keep this up as is!
Name: Sammantha
Current Weight: 150.6
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: both, if the scale goes down, I'm happy; if my goal jeans fit then I'm happy; it's pretty much win-win :) Gotta keep motivated!
Amount of weight you wish to lose: 15lbs
How often do you want to weight-in? Everyday
Goal by Christmas? to be down to a weight in between 135-140lbs
What do you do to workout? Eat right? Tips or advice
My husband says I'm a health nut so I'm always trying to eat right. I consume 1500 calories a day and try to stay in between 40-50g of fat a day. I'm in the middle of moving so I'm not working out right now. When I get to my new home then I will run in the morning 4-5 days a week (the luxury of sidewalks!)
Name: Jessica
Current Weight: 198.4
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing: Scale
Amount of weight you wish to lose: 33.4
How often do you want to weight-in?: Weekly is fine for me, I have been wighing in on my own every Saturday.
Goal by Christmas?: My goal is actually for the new year, but Christmas is close enough. My husband and I would like to start trying for our first child, and I am already going to have a risky pregnancy because I have Factor V deficiency, so I do not want my weight to be a problem too. I want to avoid as many risks as possible with my first pregnancy and all to follow. Also, we are going on a vacation to England, and my husband has promissed me a shopping spree if I lose the weight and reach my goal! :)
What do you do to workout? Eat right? Tips or advice: I have been counting calories for a little over two week and a half now, and have come down from 203lbs. We just joined a gym todsay, so I plan on hitting the gym at least 3 times a week for a minimum of 1 hour each time, just to start off. I hope to increase this as I get used to a routine.
ALSO I want you to make weekly challenges and put them in here and then report back once a week with your results and any new news!!
This weeks weekly challange:
10 miles on the bike at the gym
3 days at the gym with a minimum of 1 hour each time
1 Zumba class (just to get into a schedule with it, its supposed to be a high energy fun dance cardio type class. I've heard a lot about it and look forward to it, I love to dance)
Hi,
I would love to join in this challenge! I have been yo yo dieting for awhile and i just want to go back to being healthy and in shape; and stay that way!
Name;- Naa
Current Weight:- 154 lbs
Scale stepper or Judge by clothing:- both
Amount of weight you wish to lose:- 20lbs- 25lbs
How often do you want to weight-in?:- fortnightly (every two weeks)
Goal by Christmas?
My goal by Christmas is to have lost the amount of weight i wish to lose, and have maintained it for awhile. As well as get toned by lifting weights.
What do you do to workout?
I jog/run at least 4 times a week for 45 minutes
100 crunches daily
Weight machines 4 times a week
I want to alternate jogging with swimming, pilates and Tae-bo
Eat right?
Also, with regards to food; i follow the Mediterranean diet i.e. i eat a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, cook with olive oil, etc.
I just need to watch my portions and drink more water.
Tips or advice
I would just like to encourage everyone to keep working hard towards their goal and not give up. Healthy weight loss is a slow and steady proces....but the results are worth it...not just how you look; but just how healthy you feel and active you become!
I wish everyone the best of luck!
