Apple Topping for pancakes, french toast or ice cream.
| 1 | medium apple |
| 1 | tbsp butter |
| 1 | tsp brown sugar |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon, ground |
- Set pan or pot to medium heat.
- Melt butter in pan.
- Cut apple into smaller cubes.
- Add apple chunks to melted butter and cook apples to desired texture, stirring occasionally.
- When apples almost reach desired texture, add the ground cinnamon and brown sugar and continue mixing until it has reached a syrup-like consistency.
- Use as topping. In case of adding to pancakes or french toast, skip the syrup! It can also be added as topping to ice cream or I guess it could even be mixed into oatmeal.
