I remember reading something about cinnamon and it helping people who are insulin resistant. You can buy cinnamon supplements but use at your own risk. You burp it up ALL DAY LONG.

Cinnamon is delicious. It definitely wouldn't hurt if you put a few shakes in your yogurt, smoothies, cereal/oatmeal, baked goods, or on your fruit.

that's what i was thinking... is to just add it to some stuff like fruit and yogurt..... from what i have read, just as little as two teaspoons a day is enough to reep the benefits....

Yeah, but two spoons is actually quite a lot.  A sprinkle on oatmeal would be like half a teaspoon at most.

Not saying that means cinnamon's bad...I love the stuff!

well i usually have oatmeal like every morning for breakfast, and yogurt for like every lunch.... there is a teaspoon there.... guess i would have to be pretty creative for the second teaspoon.....

So what exactly is eating 2 tsp of cinnamon suppose to do? How does it help with weight loss? You have me interested!

 Read this article: http://thyroid.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.h tm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=thyroid&cdn=health& ;tm=90&gps=70_441_1276_654&f=10&s u=p284.9.336.ip_p726.4.336.ip_&tt=2&b t=0&bts=0&zu=http%3A//www.thyroid-inf o.com/articles/cinnamon.htm

One person's experience: "The first effect is seen in my abdominal area, and regular use of cinnamon helped shrink my abdomen slightly, and also reduced my appetite somewhat when taken right after eating."

I've been taking it, and it works great. Keeps my sugar buds down a little too. It's good for so many things, and it's really good to use.

You can add that to your supplement. I take flax seed oil, and cinnamon 500mg, and B12. It's been helping me out a lot, and it's a good thing to take. I really do like it. It does some other things for you too, but I guess that link she sent you will spell it all out for you.. I will just put it like this.. You can cut out activia if you use this stuff on the regular. I wish you luck, and I hope you find the answer you need.

cinnamon adds flavor to my yogurt, smoothies, oatmeal, and just about anything else that the spice would not clash with.  the best thing about cinnamon is that it does keep my sugar cravings down.

cinnamon in itself is pretty sweet, spicy and all around flavorful.  i find that the extra flavor is the reason for less cravings.

i try not to look into those claims too much.  there was an interesting article in the newspaper today about cravings.  check it out, i found it very useful.
