I use Wondra flour and Sargento reduced fat shredded cheese in this recipe. It's great on vegetables and makes fabulous macaroni and cheese
| 1/4 | cup Wondra flour |
| 2 | cups milk, fat free |
| 1 | cup cheese, shredded |
- Combine the Wondra flour and skim milk in a 1 quart, heavy saucepan
- Place the pan on medium high heat and stir while heating until bubbles rise. Do not bring to a full boil.
- Stir and cook over medium heat until thickened
- Remove from the heat
- Put in the cheese, cover the pot and let sit for a few minutes until the cheese is gently melted.
- Stir, season as desired, and serve hot.
