Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

waaaaaaaaaaah. i'm out . please restart me. I worked today in a different pharmacy  9-9 and they had a big bag of m&m's for everybody to munch on and i made it til about 8:30 and then had a handful-- they were good! (in a bittersweet way). at least i have learned some good "no" skills along the way... **climbs back on wagon**

pharmspice - oh crap girl! I'm wailing for you too :( You're one of the originals. But HEY!!! YOU MADE IT 13 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's almost 2 weeks with no cheats! You did awesome girl. I'll reset you to today. Damn m&m's!
Hey, does anyone have any ideas on how to encourage everyone else who doesn't check in regularly to let us know if they either need their dates restarted or want to be pulled from the challenge. I know I could email all of them, but not sure i have the time for that. Thanks all! I just want to make sure that the people being recognized for clean eating, are doing just that.

aughh i need to be restarted too. yesterday was terrible- i had 2 cookies, a cup of ice cream and a slice of banana bread.... oh dear.

 I guess we could ask people to check in at least every 1-2 weeks or they will be removed from the list. That way you wont have 600 names.... just an idea.... 
I'm back from my trip to Portland and did surprisingly well!  I was able to find reasonably healthy options like veggie yakisoba stir-fry and salad at the kinds of places where my family was eating sausages and seafood in cream sauce.  Yay!  I treated myself to a delicious belgian trappiste Rochefort ale as well as a couple of french fries and some strawberry lemonade gelato for dessert.  But I don't feel like I cheated because I generally picked the best options, kept the portions small (the gelato was maybe half a cup), and I'm confident I stayed within my calorie limits.  So I'm proud of myself and calling it a clean weekend.
Argh, I'm still at home, and there's still LITERALLY no decent food in the house.

Example of cupboards -
Meat soup (I'm a veg-head)
Sugar
Flour
Chocolate chips
Hot chocolate
Molasses (I don't know why...)
Cookie mix

Example of refrigerator -
Rotting lettuce (Ewwww!!!)
Moldy grapes
Sliced Ham
Frozen meals with 65% sodium (Ew!)
4 week old pie full of trans fats
Butter.  I don't eat butter.


Auuuugh you might as well reset me for  Monday the 14th, when I'll be back at college where vegetables EXIST!  My family refused to bring me to the store.

I feel soooooo  bad you guys.  I was doing really well, and now I understand where my bad relationship with food came about!  If I ever have kids, you guys need to give me a swift kick in the  behind if I ever let them eat crap like what's in my house.

Going home always makes me feel like giving up for the long run.  What am I going to do when I'm at home for 2 months in the summer?  I'm so scared all the eating habits I'm trying to form are just going to go down the drain.

Not to mention I feel like crap from EATING crap.  Gosh, you really are what you eat.   Eating bad fat and bad carbs all weekend has seriously affected my mood, physical well being, and not to mention my mental state.  

At this rate I'll never eat clean, and I'll never lose the weight.  Darn it.....  I need a hug.  Or a salad.
Went to Melting Pot for Mother's Day. Oops! Definitely need a restart!
Had a great steak dinner today, mmm it was yummy!!! Played some board games with my mil too. Didn't have the urge to snack while playing so that was good. usually we crack out the "game food" & munch while we play. But I was a good girl!!!

lysistrata - welcome home & congrats for doing so well. You should be proud!

cerhiunnhn - sorry your family wouldn't bring you to the store. That sucks. Maybe next time you can make sure you pack some food to bring or stop at the store b4 you get there. You'll be happy to be back in your own environment (eating wise anyway).

So far I haven't been doing good. I haven't been eating enough, of all things! And I am over weight so don't think I am not. Today I only had about 938 calories! And I need to eat about 1350 a day (this has been going on for about a week now). I think I know what the problem is and I might be lactose now, but I love milk and it is the only thing I can think it could be. So when I eat my milk w/ cereal in the morning I just can't eat till dinner time b/c of how my stomach feels.

Hmm... maybe it is a way to lose weight for me, lol. I know not healthy.

Did not have such a great food weekend, had about 1600 calories on Saturday and yesterday I did not count.  Went to Applebees and did not order a meal but had a bite of this burger, some appetizer, steak....dessert it was not good.  I am starting fresh this morning, please reset me for today.  I did have a great mothers day--I have four kids  so I felt like I deserved a break this weekend and everything I tasted was delicious but not good food choices--  I proimise I am committed now and will beat my previous 9 day record---

Hey i'm just writing to say that i'm still in i think
i might have eaten to much fruits and veggies yesterday and today.
but can you really eat to much of those?

well if not then it's been 8 days!!!!

I think this is day #15 now - and STILL CLEAN!!  I feels great not to have those feelings of guilt after one of those nasty binges - yeah!!

bellad - do you need to be restarted? Ya, try to get those cals up to at least 1200, and you'll lose great. Sorry you're lactose intollerant.

lrschwarze- 4 kids hey? that's great, I hope you felt like a queen yesterday, you sure do deserve a nice meal treat!

junkaholic- Uhm, I think you're ok! The veggies I think you can eat till the cows come home, and the fruit, well, at least it's good for you. Just got a bunch of sugar. Keep on goin!

5 days and still clean! and still 20 lbs lighter than the day I started. =)
Day 1 clean after restarting feels great! Going for a big record this time!!!!
